Description

Identify concrete tasks that currently depend on the Anthropic API backend (Claude) and plan how to migrate them to Timmy's local OpenClaw agent. This is the long-term sovereignty roadmap.

Tasks

  1. Inventory current Anthropic dependencies — What does Timmy currently use Claude for?
    • Issue triage
    • Code generation
    • Deep research
    • Daily run orchestration
    • PR review
  2. Classify by local feasibility:
    • ✅ Can do locally now (simple triage, health checks, issue formatting)
    • ⚠️ Can do locally with effort (code generation with smaller model, basic research)
    • ❌ Still needs big model (complex multi-file code changes, nuanced PR review)
  3. Create migration tickets — For each ✅ item, create a specific issue
  4. Define success metrics — How do we measure "Timmy is more sovereign"?
    • % of tasks completed without Anthropic API
    • Daily Anthropic token usage trend
    • Number of sovereign scripts in openclaw-tools

Acceptance Criteria

  • Inventory of Anthropic dependencies is documented
  • Feasibility classification is complete
  • At least 3 concrete migration tickets are created
  • Success metrics are defined
