Context

During the update, 2 bundled skills were synced: research-paper-writing and manim-video. 3 user-modified skills were kept (not overwritten). Additionally, all skill files were synced across 6 profiles (bezalel, carnice, fenrir, gemma4-llamacpp, gemma4-local, qwen-free).

Some files were removed: langfuse doc, smoketest script, installed-plugin test (commit 38bcaa1e).

Acceptance Criteria

  • Verify synced skills are current: Compare skills/manim-video/SKILL.md and skills/research-paper-writing/SKILL.md against the upstream versions, confirm they match
  • Verify user-modified skills were preserved: Identify the 3 user-modified skills that were kept during sync, confirm our local changes were NOT overwritten
  • Verify profile sync: Check at least 2 other profiles (e.g., bezalel, fenrir) for the updated skills, confirm they received the sync
  • Verify removed files: Confirm langfuse doc, smoketest script, and installed-plugin test are gone from ~/.hermes/hermes-agent/
  • Write a changelog entry: Create ~/.hermes/docs/v0.7.0-changelog.md summarizing all 32 commit groups with user-facing impact

Why This Matters

Ensures our local fork and all profiles are in sync with upstream. Missing a skill sync means some agents run outdated instructions.
