What

Replace the primitive shape placeholders with designed GLTF models that match the Nexus aesthetic (dark, glowing, wireframe-influenced).

Part List

Each part needs tier variants where applicable:

  • models/archon/head.glb
  • models/archon/eyes_t1.glb (basic sensor dots)
  • models/archon/eyes_t2.glb (focused lenses)
  • models/archon/eyes_t3.glb (luminous orbs)
  • models/archon/mouth_t1.glb (simple slit)
  • models/archon/mouth_t3.glb (articulated)
  • models/archon/torso.glb
  • models/archon/arm_left.glb / arm_right.glb
  • models/archon/hand_t2.glb (articulated)
  • models/archon/fingers_t2.glb (fine detail)
  • models/archon/leg_left.glb / leg_right.glb
  • models/archon/wings_t3.glb (energy wings)
  • models/archon/crown.glb (mastery crown)
  • models/archon/aura_t2.glb (safety glow shell)

Design Direction

  • Cyberpunk/ethereal: think Ghost in the Shell meets Tron Legacy
  • Wireframe edges with emissive glow
  • Color-coded by form_class (blue=orb, green=basic, gold=articulate, white=transcendent)
  • Each model < 500KB for fast loading
  • Rigged for basic idle animation (subtle breathing/hovering)

Acceptance Criteria

  • All parts load in the Three.js assembler without code changes (drop-in replacement)
  • Full transcendent archon renders at 60fps
  • Parts blend seamlessly with existing Nexus scene aesthetic
  • Total part library < 10MB

Closed per direction shift (#542). Reason: GLTF Archon models — for 3D avatar system being deleted.

The Nexus has three jobs: Heartbeat, Harness, Portal Interface. This issue doesn't serve any of them.
