[MIGRATION] Preserve legacy the-matrix quality work before Nexus rewrite #685

Source evidence:

Legacy local repo /Users/apayne/the-matrix still contains a substantial browser UI stack:

  • 23 JS modules under js/
  • Vite app with PWA pieces
  • visitor movement, chat, presence, bark system, economy/satflow, ambient moods, transcript logging
  • smoke suite currently passes: 87 passed, 0 failed

Acceptance:

  • inventory the quality work in legacy Matrix worth preserving
  • map each preserved capability into one of: carry forward, archive as reference, or deliberately drop
  • produce a migration table that names files/modules and why they matter for Timmy's local-first training ground and wizardly visualization goal

This issue exists to prevent accidental loss of good work through abandonment-by-confusion.
