Phase 4 — Media & Content

Objective

Use the Lyria RealTime API to implement dynamic, context-reactive background music in The Nexus that responds to user actions and agent state.

Design

  • Music changes based on:
    • Current room/zone (Hub, Workshop, Archive, etc.)
    • Agent activity level (idle, thinking, executing)
    • Time of day / session duration
    • Player interaction intensity
  • Smooth crossfade between musical states
  • User controls: volume, mute, style preference

Acceptance

  • Build a NexusAudioEngine module with Lyria RealTime API integration
  • Define musical profiles for at least 3 zones
  • Implement real-time music transitions triggered by game events
  • Add user audio controls to the HUD
  • Fallback: pre-generated Lyria tracks when API is unavailable
