Phase 5 — Advanced Integration

Objective

Integrate the Deep Research Agent API so Timmy can programmatically run deep research investigations without manual Gemini App usage.

Design

  • Trigger research via issue labels or operator commands
  • Research plan review before execution (human-in-the-loop)
  • Auto-generate research report and store in docs/research/
  • Post summary as Gitea issue comment when complete

Acceptance

  • Create DeepResearchProvider wrapping the API
  • Implement plan generation → approval → execution flow
  • Store and index all research outputs
  • Integrate with NotebookLM (auto-upload new reports)
  • Rate limit and cost tracking
