Cross-audit finding: 167.99.126.228 is alive and exposes port 22, but current admin access from both the local Mac and the Hermes/Ezra box fails with Permission denied (publickey). This blocks direct verification and maintenance of the Allegro house.

Why this matters:

  • the box is alive but cannot be fully audited or repaired
  • swap/disk/process truth on Allegro cannot be trusted from port probes alone

Acceptance criteria:

  • At least one approved admin path (SSH key / account) to root@167.99.126.228 or equivalent operator account is restored and documented.
  • A proof command from the approved admin path shows: hostname, uptime, disk, memory, and running hermes/relay services.
  • The access path is documented in repo truth or a secure operator doc so future audits do not dead-end on auth.
  • This issue includes console-proof output or linked proof of successful authenticated access.
