Steps

  1. Create ~/.openclaw/workspace/SOUL.md from existing system prompt
  2. Create ~/.openclaw/workspace/AGENTS.md with tool/behavior constraints
  3. Test: openclaw agent --message "Introduce yourself" should respond as Timmy

Notes

  • OpenClaw injects SOUL.md into every session (same pattern as Hermes)
  • Keep the Ollama Modelfile minimal — put identity in SOUL.md for runtime updates
  • SOUL.md is the single source of truth for agent identity across both Hermes and OpenClaw

Acceptance

  • SOUL.md written and tested
  • Agent responds with Timmy's voice and values
  • AGENTS.md constrains tool usage appropriately

Closing as resolved in practice. Timmy identity was already migrated into the OpenClaw workspace during the local architecture spike; the remaining work is not identity injection itself but long-term authority boundaries and routing.
