Closes #1076

Product slice

  • pause the exact running Today item when mobile New opens
  • show named paused context and Save & return to Today
  • resume only after durable Draft admission, Cancel, or Back
  • preserve already-paused/replaced identities and transfer cleanly on Create & start

Verification

  • pytest -q — 2028 passed, 7 skipped
  • packaged 390×844 Chromium journey — 2 passed
  • release bundle verification passed
  • core runtime remains within the 99 KiB gzip budget
