Failure evidence

The 2026-08-22 14:57 UTC CI/browser-journey run on main failed in tests/e2e/test_mobile_today_handoff_release.py::test_release_artifact_plans_hands_off_and_opens_next_mobile_issue: after clicking Save & start Today, #plan-today-sheet remained visible instead of handing off to the selected issue. The preceding run passed, so this is a new main-branch regression.

Acceptance criteria

  • Reproduce the packaged mobile journey failure with a failing automated test.
  • Saving and starting Today closes the Plan Today sheet before opening the selected issue.
  • The packaged mobile handoff E2E passes.
  • The full unit test suite passes.
