Closes #147

What changed

expose first-page notification totals in the pooled live snapshot
add a bounded, no-store endpoint for on-demand notification pages
add a mobile 44px Load older updates flow with single-flight merging and retry
cap bulk acknowledgement to the next 50 loaded updates

Verification

python3 -m pytest -q — 134 passed
Node syntax checks passed
Playwright at 375x812: 50/75 → 75/75, one request, 44px target, no horizontal overflow
