System failure

The CI browser-journey job for main commit b0b28a9 failed on 2026-08-27 at 20:32 UTC after 96 browser tests passed. The failing test was tests/e2e/test_mobile_today_week_reschedule_release.py::test_release_artifact_reschedules_active_today_into_week_ahead[390-844]; line 112 observed #today-week-reschedule visible after confirming the move. Runner service is healthy, so this is a product/test synchronization failure rather than runner downtime.

Acceptance criteria

  • Add a deterministic regression test proving a successful confirm keeps the reschedule dialog closed through post-confirm asynchronous work.
  • Make the smallest production change needed to remove the dialog reopen/race behavior.
  • Full python3 -m pytest tests/ -q passes.
  • Packaged browser journey is green in Gitea Actions.
