Evidence

Mobile Queues renders up to 20 pinned rows before Plan & organize. At the current 56px minimum row height plus gaps, the shelf can exceed 1,272px. Reopening a pin refreshes metadata but does not promote it, and the same route remains visible in Recent work. Historical issue review found only #1471, #1475, #1477, and #1485 for Recent/Pinned foundations; none covers compact disclosure, usage ranking, or visible deduplication.

User outcome

Pinned work remains a useful thumb-reachable shortcut on phones even with a full collection: show the three most recently used pins by default, disclose all on demand, promote an opened pin across devices, and avoid repeating pinned routes in Recent work.

Acceptance

  • With 20 pins, show three by default with an accessible Show all 20 / Show fewer control.
  • Opening a pin promotes it first offline-first and preserves that order after server sync.
  • Recent work omits routes currently shown in Pinned; unpinning restores an item when it remains recent.
  • The disclosure exposes aria-expanded/aria-controls, retains touch-safe controls, and has no horizontal overflow at 320x568 and 390x844.
  • Existing account isolation, bounded synchronization, and retry behavior remain intact.
  • Focused behavioral tests, packaged mobile viewport test, and full suite pass.
