What changed

  • model New, Find, Search, and Search preview as bounded same-document history states
  • unwind Search preview back to retained results before returning to the dashboard
  • preserve New issue drafts on Back while avoiding stale overlay states during work-route handoffs
  • retain existing My Work deep-link history state

Verification

  • RED: new behavioral tests failed because the history controller was absent
  • GREEN: pytest -q → 564 passed
  • JavaScript syntax checks pass
