What changed

  • add a conditional, thumb-safe Reply & next action for the current checkpointed Today update
  • reuse the single-flight comment-and-continue controller with update-reply outbox identity
  • preserve explicit unread acknowledgement while advancing only after posting or durable admission
  • roll the offline shell and document the workflow

Verification

  • RED: update identity test failed because update replies were posted without the operation ID and queued as issue comments
  • RED: rendered mobile test failed because the action and shell revision were absent
  • GREEN: pytest -q tests/test_comment_next.py (9 passed)
  • focused integration: 100 passed
  • full suite: pytest -q (867 passed)
  • node --check passed for changed runtime scripts
