Problem

Find Work search results are already ranked and batch claiming enforces Today item/time capacity, but mobile operators must still select every issue manually. Building the rest of a day from a filtered result is unnecessarily repetitive.

Slice

Add a thumb-reachable Fill Today action that selects the highest-ranked visible matches up to Today’s remaining item slots, preserving existing cross-query selections and deduplicating matches. Hand the shortlist into the existing estimate review when time capacity is configured, otherwise the existing explicit batch confirmation. No assignment occurs from the selection action itself.

Acceptance

  • With three free slots, select exactly the first three unselected ranked matches.
  • Existing selections count against remaining slots and are preserved.
  • A full Today plan performs no selection or mutation and announces the state.
  • The action remains accessible at mobile widths and continues through existing time-budget/confirmation safeguards.
  • Focused behavioral tests and the full suite pass.
