Epic: Agent Task Harness

Parent issue for all work related to deterministic multi-agent orchestration.

Why

Multi-agent workflows are fragile today. This epic tracks delivery of a reusable harness.

Scope themes

  • Pipeline-based workflow definition
  • Agent I/O contract validation
  • Retry/backoff policy per step
  • Structured JSON telemetry emission

Child issues

  • P1: contract validator
  • P1: retry/backoff engine
  • P1: telemetry + example workflow

Acceptance Criteria

  • 3-step pipeline end-to-end
  • Contract validation with clear errors
  • Telemetry with run/job IDs
  • README demo

  • GUI, vendor integrations
