Summary

Build an AI-driven adaptive interface inside the Gitea web experience that reshapes the view/layout to match the user’s current task.

Why

Static dashboards force users to adapt to the tool. A live adaptive UI adapts the tool to the user, reducing context switches and cognitive load for agent engineers.

Scope

  • Task-aware layout changes in repo/issue/PR views
  • AI suggestion panel: next actions, reviewers, related issues
  • Dynamic sidebar/topbar based on workflow state
  • Inline micro-edits without leaving the current view

Acceptance Criteria

  • UI changes reflect current repo/issue/PR state
  • AI panel suggests concrete next actions
  • No page reload required for view changes
  • README + demo video/screenshots

Out of Scope

  • Changing Gitea core backend behavior
  • Mobile-first redesign
  • Enterprise auth/sso themes
