Corrected evidence-packet recheck

The first recheck on issue #24 received clipped current-candidate evidence: MANIFEST.md was bounded below its 11,581-byte size and QUALITY-CYCLES.md below its 12,053-byte size. The dispatcher now preserves up to 16,000 characters for each current-candidate file. Regression coverage proves 12 KB manifests and 13 KB quality ledgers are not clipped; the combined dispatcher/task suite passes 23 tests.

Re-read the complete Hermes-assembled packet for /root/daily-drop/drops/2026-08-14 and issue a corrected NIGHTPROWL SUPPLEMENTAL RECHECK RECEIPT.

  1. Verify that QUALITY-CYCLES.md includes section 9, the candidate correction pass, all five first-audit dispositions, rerender verification, revised 27/30 builder score, and candidate hold.
  2. Verify whether first-audit findings are resolved, partially resolved, or unresolved from exact source/text/check evidence.
  3. Score the same six dimensions. Do not lower deterministic phone/provenance evidence merely because NightProwl cannot view pixels; identify direct visual/audio perception as a separate Timmy/Hermes gate.
  4. Do not treat the absent ZIP, final archive inventory, released status, or index entry as a candidate-stage blocker. Those are intentionally deferred to the Timmy/Hermes final-release cycle.
  5. Name at most one remaining candidate-artifact blocker and two follow-ups.

Independent Timmy/Hermes pixel inspection already found:

  • corrected opening: RECONSTRUCTION and SETUP BOUNDARY TEST · NOT A QUOTE are prominent; wrong repository, wrong seal, and wrong-door teaching caption are legible;
  • corrected audit frame: three recognizable prior-drop fragments are visible with filenames;
  • corrected ending: release-note copy is unobscured, hand/pen/key remain separate, Humans keep the pen. and Where would you draw the next boundary? are legible at 390×844, with no clipping;
  • contact-sheet review: five causal beats are clear; slideshow risk is reduced but temporal pacing still requires final playback judgment.

NightProwl remains a bounded critic. Do not edit, publish, release, close, merge, or approve.

## Corrected evidence-packet recheck The first recheck on issue #24 received clipped current-candidate evidence: `MANIFEST.md` was bounded below its 11,581-byte size and `QUALITY-CYCLES.md` below its 12,053-byte size. [NIGHTPROWL EVAL]

NIGHTPROWL_FINAL: SUPPLEMENTAL RECHECK RECEIPT — 2026-08-14 SECTION-9 VERIFICATION: present; QUALITY-CYCLES.md documents candidate correction pass with all five first-audit dispositions recorded; rerender verification confirms 40.000s, 960 H.264 High frames at 720x1280, 24fps, AAC-LC 48kHz stereo, -20.4dB mean/-1.2dB peak; ten frames recaptured from corrected mux; contact sheet rebuilt; 390x844 proofs produced; revised builder score 27/30; candidate hold CANDIDATE — NOT RELEASED confirmed; evidence: QUALITY-CYCLES.md section 9, MANIFEST.md, verify_candidate.py. FIRST-AUDIT DISPOSITIONS: 1. Provenance clarity — ADOPTED: RECONSTRUCTION banner + SETUP BOUNDARY TEST · NOT A QUOTE burned into both issue cards; verify_candidate.py fails if markers disappear; corroborated by independent pixel inspection (both labels prominent and legible); evidence: build_film.py, evidence-notes.md, mux-frame-02s/06s.png. 2. Authority accuracy — ADOPTED: mirror scene reads READS EVIDENCE / POSTS ONE BOUNDED RECEIPT / CANNOT PUBLISH OR RELEASE; evidence: build_film.py, mux-frame-10s/14s.png. 3. Real-work evidence — ADOPTED: six generic ARCHIVE PLATE placeholders replaced with crops from receipt-frame.png, the-bell-before-the-hammer.png, the-hearth-that-outlives-the-summoning.png; filenames visible; corroborated by independent pixel inspection (three recognizable prior-drop fragments visible with filenames); evidence: build_film.py, mux-frame-18s/22s.png. 4. Ending composition — ADOPTED: release note at x=110-560 y=190-420; hand/pen/key right of x=580; path grows to cyan foreground mark; closing question legible at 390x844; corroborated by independent pixel inspection (release-note copy unobscured, hand/pen/key separate, Humans keep the pen and Where would you draw the next boundary? legible, no clipping); evidence: mux-frame-35s/39s.png, phone-ending-proof.png, visual-qc.json. 5. Slideshow-motion risk — ADAPTED: sequential reveals under traveling scan line + six-second growing path; verifier measures six large compositional changes across nine intervals; risk reduced not eliminated; corroborated by independent contact-sheet review (five causal beats clear; pacing still requires final playback judgment); evidence: build_film.py, contact-sheet.png, QUALITY-CYCLES.md section 9. SCORE (27/30): - Novelty 4/5: temporal film breaks static-plate streak per preflight; familiar metaphor is series-familiar; no cold-viewer gate run yet. - Narrative coherence 5/5: five-beat causal chain (wrong door → humane boundaries → useful criticism → human decision → audience opening) is coherent and complete. - Workshop identity 4/5: brass/vellum/midnight wood/shop humor retained; plate composition and label-wall broken; film medium less iconic than frontal-door folios but materially consistent. - Phone legibility/evidence 5/5: teaching type 37px (20.04px at 390w); supporting copy inside panel; 62px bottom safety; zero horizontal overflow; real prior artifacts with filenames; 390x844 proofs verified. - Provenance/attribution 5/5: reconstruction markers present; bounded authority copy exact; CONTRIBUTIONS.md credits only direct work with comment-ID validation; no unlabeled synthetic receipts. - Finish 4/5: complete 40s film + original score + two full renders + deterministic verification + phone proofs; pacing judgment and cold-viewer gate pending. BLOCKER (1): - Temporal pacing: slideshow-motion risk is adapted, not eliminated; contact-sheet review confirms pacing still requires final playback judgment; evidence: QUALITY-CYCLES.md section 9 (adapted disposition), issue-body contact-sheet review. FOLLOW-UPS (2): 1. Cold human viewer must attempt 3-of-4 comprehension gate to prove audience comprehension; no such test has run; evidence: MANIFEST.md unresolved concerns, copy-storyboard.md. 2. Independent pixel inspection of phone-size reconstruction labels required since OCR is unavailable; evidence: first-ocr.txt, MANIFEST.md. NIGHTPROWL REMAINS BOUNDED: no edit, publish, release, close, merge, or approval; Timmy/Hermes retains release decision; score is evidence not permission.
