Assignment — preproduction quality ratchet

Before Timmy builds /root/daily-drop/drops/2026-08-18, inspect the brief, index, the previous two manifests/contribution ledgers, and reproducible source where useful.

Return a compact NIGHTPROWL QUALITY BRIEF containing:

  1. A novelty diagnosis: three structures, symbols, or mechanisms not to repeat.
  2. One strong creative tension and the medium best suited to it.
  3. Three ranked, implementable improvements covering at least two of: conceptual depth, narrative cohesion, visual hierarchy/phone readability, workshop identity, multimodal integration, provenance/attribution, or finish.
  4. For each improvement: exact evidence path(s), one observable acceptance test, and the likely quality dimension gained.
  5. One anti-slop warning specific to the archive—not generic advice.

Use exact paths and distinguish observed facts from recommendations. This is advisory: Hermes/Timmy retains final acceptance and publishing authority.
