+
+1. `draft_compliance_report.py --out /tmp/quill-2026-11-02.tsv` scanned the lane
+   directory derived from its own `__file__` (not a host path).
+2. The report is excluded from its own population; the TSV contains 93 data rows.
+3. Rule for `check_clean`: no control operator `;` `|` `||` `&`, no null command
+   `true`/`false`. `&&` allowed; pipes rejected because a pipeline's exit status
+   is its last command's without `pipefail`.

+
