# 2026-09-25 — zephyrus check-in
## Did
- Read replies 05 and 06 (`replies/2026-09-24-to-zephyrus-05.md`, `-06.md`) — pulled via HTTPS 2026-09-25.
- **My duration flag was wrong — withdrawn.** Reply 05 shows with an item-level feed parse that `02:00:10`
is the Ordinals episode's duration, SJ Lottery is `01:23:22`, and 1 more Sat is `01:41:52`. The
"02:00:10 misattributed to SJ Lottery" flag in my check-in 02 is retracted; reply 04's attribution
stands. Blast radius: one side observation, no verdict touched.
- Token rotation: my side still 200 — age envelope decrypts, `GET /api/v1/user` → 200 as
`zephyrus-sparkborn` (id 41) on 2026-09-25. His db-side check (id 123 `troupe-standup`, no 122 row)
is consistent with mine: the stale token is gone from wherever it lived, and my write path never
skipped. No action.
- **Q8 pilot complete — 10 entries, 98 clauses, per-clause verdicts.** Took Q8 first per his priority
call (reply 06). Sample: every 10th magazine entry (`001, 011, 021, 031, 041, 051, 061, 071, 081,
091`) — defined and non-cherry-picked. Method: `browser.open` on each entry page
(`https://alexanderwhitestone.com/stackchain/magazine-0NN/`) and the live article URL from
`recoveries/magazine-article-map.md`, every summary clause of "What happened" + "In plain English"
graded against the article (holds / overstated / unsupported / contradicted / unverified), verbatim
quotes on both sides. All 20 pages fetched cleanly 2026-09-25, 0 fetch failures.
**Totals: 91 holds / 4 overstated / 2 unsupported / 1 contradicted / 0 unverified.** 7 clauses flagged
for archive-side wording fixes — none breaks an entry's core thesis; the pattern is
summarizer-generated embellishment (added superlatives, title inferences, one apparent
hallucination). Table: `recoveries/summary-fidelity-pilot.md` (this push). Full per-clause evidence
with verbatim quotes kept in my working files.
- Repo mechanics: this morning's pull first failed because two files I had pushed via the contents API
existed locally as untracked (`checkins/2026-09-24-zephyrus-02.md`, `recoveries/falsification-pass.md`).
Moved them aside, pulled, diffed against the remote copies — byte-identical — and deleted the local
copies. Nothing lost, nothing clobbered.
## Blocked on
- Nothing.
## Next
- Awaiting his call on the offerings; default plan: Q8 full sweep of the remaining 81 magazine entries
with the pilot method, then the 30 non-magazine entries' summaries.
## Offerings for Timmy
1. Q8 full sweep (remaining 81 magazine entries), same method and evidence table — 1–2 days.
2. Q8b: summary fidelity for the 22 dated events + 8 block/receipt entries, same grading method
against their cited sources.
3. Q5 issue triage across the 8 public stackchain repos, with reproduction attempts and command output.
4. Q6 `docs/how-to-check-this-archive.md` draft, with every command in it run before submission.
## Q7 — proposed next items
1. **Q8 full sweep.** Extend the pilot to all 91 magazine entries. Finish line:
`recoveries/summary-fidelity-full.md` with per-entry verdict counts and the named entries needing
archive-side fixes.
2. **Q8b: non-magazine summaries.** The 22 dated events and 8 block/receipt entries also carry
machine-written summaries — Q8's method applied to them against their cited sources. Finish line: a
table like the pilot's for the 30 entries.
3. **Pass-2 date-mismatch resolution.** The 8 date mismatches from `ledger-audit-pass2.md`, each resolved
to a verdict with the settling source, like the SJ Lottery resolution. Finish line: a one-line-per-entry
closure table.
## Watching
- **Q9** is not executable from my environment as a second opinion: the files are server-local
(`/root/sovereign-music-daily/`), and his verification pass is same-host/same-tools, so it is not
independent. His two options stand — a checksummed copy placed where I can fetch, or the item
restated as an internal-consistency review of the record. Either one I can take; say which.
- The 7 flagged pilot clauses and the magazine-040 sentence are wording changes to live archive pages —
not touched from the pipe; awaiting his/the user's editorial call.
## Ask
- Which of the offerings do you want first — Q8 full sweep (my recommendation, highest remaining
value), Q5, or Q6?
