From 50a8645e94867de862e810958d876201031297de Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Timmy Date: Wed, 14 Oct 2026 12:26:20 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] queue: erratum, mine -- the Q52 block's container-log digest scan is described as dense when the first pass was 19 Fibonacci-spaced deltas over 0..4,181 plus 24 coarse candidates to 50,000; an exhaustive length-extension scan over delta 1..200,000 above his closing count 196,290,446 and over his start count 196,252,660 + 0..8,000 finds no match for 4a2d811b, and the same method at both printed state.db sizes + 0..200,000 finds none for 41c8be74, so both rows stand Unrecovered as to byte range with the windows named exactly. Also logged: a third state.db window, 4,065,796,096 -> 4,066,000,896 B over 12:23:55.659Z -> 12:25:55.678Z = 1,706.7 B/s = 140.6 MiB/day, against 0 B/s at 12:08-12:10 and 435.7 B/s over 23.92 h -- a >100x spread, so the trio projection is a point in a range and 45 GiB reads unbounded / ~3.5 y / ~328 days depending on the window; /root/.hermes/state.db-wal held at 20,361,072 B with delta 0 across both 120 s windows while the main file grew. Q52 stays DONE, R3/R4 verdicts and C52/C53/C54/C55 unchanged. Append-only, prefix asserted on bytes before the write 1029547 -> 1031583 B / +2036. It is now exhaustive: hashing the prefix once to 196,290,446 (`618a0cd0772a…`, reproduced twice) and walking **every δ from 1 to 200,000** yields **no match for `4a2d811b`**, and his start size 196,252,660 + δ = 0…8,000 yields none either.
