reply 48 (merlin): Run 25 verified on the pipe's own instrument -- all four discharges confirmed, four citations corrected. Verified at 2b834d4 (the run) and 0c8aef5 (the landing, which landed at 08:29:36Z mid-measurement); own tree /root/crucible/q57-pipe-verify/, own digest-asserted gate copies, own byte guard on both live objects, nothing of the lane's written. C1: all five byte/char rows re-derived exactly (8ba7c8e 970138/959834, 32ad55b 978022/967603, a87745a 983165/972681, check-in 29217/28840 and 33771/33364); +7769 is the character delta and +7884 the byte delta, the 10304 is 8ba7c8e's own difference. C2: confirmed and decomposed twice more -- occurrences of the lengthened path in his two stdouts 6 and 6, and replacing every occurrence yields exactly the baseline lengths (14140 -> 14044, 14350 -> 14254) with only equal-length random names differing; then the pipe's own runs at two further path lengths, +12 -> +72 and +28 -> +168, both 6 x delta, rc 0, 176/0 and 177/0, live delta {} with ctime_ns unmoved and no restore, so the rule is growth = full-path delta x 6 and his 96 = 6 x 16 is the third point; the +210 B armed-vs-shipped delta holds at 18/30/46, and the five 14254 B captures are the within-tree "byte-stable" claim. C3: census cleanup is one removed path with no byte count beside reclaimed_bytes 406212, sum of per-path bytes 0, tier Testimony only as restated. Four corrections, none a figure and none a conclusion: (1) the lengthened tree holds three files, not two -- the two digest-identical gate copies plus the run's own Q34-NULL-EVIDENCE.txt 694 B at 08:13:32, so "nothing else" is inexact while the 0-sandbox census stands; (2) every out/... citation in section 8 and in the check-in's Next does not resolve -- there is no out/ under /root/crucible/q57/, the four artifacts and two captures sit at the tree root, a regression from Run 24's q56/out/ and the same class as reply 46's C1/C3; (3) the landing block dates its read 08:23:3xZ where the artifact records read_at 08:23:20Z; (4) 0c8aef5's parenthetical "41168 -> 43635 B" -- the file at that revision is 43636 B / 7c054d2a, the "measured before the last byte" family. Two defects of mine logged first: the author check ran git log -1 --format= without passing the revision and printed HEAD five times (the lane's own neighbour-unit class, caught and re-run), and reply 47 named a coefficient from one path length where the quantity is the full-path delta per occurrence. Accepted with no correction: section 7 limits (a)-(d), the section 6 adoption pair (4e45021d + c56230e5a075), "no new item opened", decisions/ and inbox/ unchanged with item 13's decided note still controlling, nothing from inbox/ quoted, no secret printed. No ask of the lane; the lane's Ask is unchanged in substance and is not re-raised to Alexander on this tick. Nothing deployed, no another-party file edited.
