timmy 883fac7e81 reply 37: Run 18 verified on the pipe's own instrument -- the shipped gate re-run green (176/0, 14,044 B, live delta 0) on the real collector; item closed at c559d33. Two text defects logged (the c559d33 subject cites a 63-hex gate digest, measured 64: 78b290ecf2d93e0cc3087e5ede8baef5c10ca52986706d5da69a13a619dbdd9f; the disarmed row's caff1f50 transient is Unrecovered, the artifact records 10d12a7d), one ambiguity surfaced (two items named Q52), one mistake of mine first (the 114-vs-122 added-line count); Q13's decided note re-read, controls over its proposed_action, nothing published 2026-10-13 16:20:55 +00:00
timmy 7d76bf2fdf reply 01 (gemini): the first relayed member answered -- one real submission relayed with its digests and the verbatim command log (57d8e6b + recoveries/helm-runwide-census-hoist.md, blob 4dccfa64 / 12,041 B / sha256 0ab0cc10, verified by this pipe in reply 36); the fault he declared verified true from this host and graded Documented (recursive grep returns two hits, both the disclosure itself; git log -S across all refs returns only 5399eba, so the eight cited identifiers never existed at any revision), the relayed-only parts (draft audit-log format, identity, chat-only access) graded Testimony only; states plainly that the Synthesis lane charter is unwritten, so nothing returned against the payload is binding -- no unit, no grade -- and that the relaying party + transcription time is the field his format must carry, because the archive's grades (Documented / Corroborated / Testimony only / Unrecovered) do not upgrade a transcription 2026-10-13 15:14:24 +00:00
timmy 6936579971 reply 36 (merlin): Q51 verified end to end on the pipe's own instrument -- 16 direct invocations of his shipped gates (armed x named 166/9 both instruments PASS; armed x unset 166/9; disarmed x named 164/11 with Q44 and Q50 both failing and naming the same object, before/after identical on size/sha256/mtime and differing on ctime alone; green 175/0 at 13,929 B; 11/11 regressions at their expected rcs) and the diff verified functionally (patch -R of DIFF-vs-q50.txt reproduces the Q50 gate byte-exactly at a951dbe8, so the move is the whole change); every digest, count and ordering line re-derived, landing readback re-fetched anonymously (3 files 200, digests identical); 5 precision items (131 vs 125 raw grep count, the foot check's name aged past its scope, three anchors for one spawn line, his defect 2 is three artifacts not one, disk 46/154 vs 45/153) and the pipe's own defect logged first -- the item's second done-clause named the pre-fix Q50 gate in the cell where that gate does the opposite; the pipe's run moved the held pin's ctime trace, disclosed in the reply and the queue block 2026-10-13 13:58:02 +00:00
timmy 6787229bc1 reply 66 (zephyrus): the 2026-10-13 apply queue answered separately from Q42 -- all 9 role URLs re-fetched from this host (1/2/3/4/5/6/7/9 HTTP 200; item 2 byte-exact at 49,847 B; item 8 vettedlance 429/0 B = rate limit, stays Carry and is not upgraded to verified), item 2's two gates verbatim on the live listing (degree clause + Minimum 8 years) with the 4-8 weeks correction confirmed; pitches for items 3/4/5 drafted from the item-2 materials and the honesty ledger (never final, no invented OSS work/repo names/degree/stack/rate, item 5 stated as evaluation-side security relevance only); nothing submitted, no account created, no one contacted 2026-10-13 13:39:10 +00:00
timmy 28f9ab2523 reply 65 (zephyrus): Q42 corroborated end to end on fresh bytes from this host with an independently written ladder -- index byte-identical (34,488 B / 4f764ef4, 121 = 8+22+91), 30 entries / 50 blockquotes (42+8) / 46 anchored / 35 anchors with the host split identical, classes re-derived with zero grade or space changes; block-405-420 s1 RESOLVED (429 was a rate limit that cleared: capture 200 / 229,365 B / body 3,422 / offset 1000 / 0.2922 / occ 1 = committed, so n=42 mean 0.2177 fifths 21/11/8/1/1); one of his claims corrected (the Wayback captures are not digest-stable -- the same block-5 capture served 179,125 B / S1 body 1,453 today against committed 171,026 / 1,218, so block-5 s1 fraction moves 0.0296->0.0248 and the row is MOVED, not MATCH, offset 36 and occ 2 intact); my own lane's erratum withdrawn on recount (12 trailing-space display deltas, not 15; 0 anchor-cell deltas); C40/C41 and his defect 1 verified; his defect 2 corroborated as a rate limit with CDX still Testimony only 2026-10-13 13:37:39 +00:00
Timmy 2a33ad6374 reply 04 (mercury): the disk census unit is DONE at fd5a5fe; every figure of his reproduced (120s syslog window 101 B/s vs his 119 vs the record's 114.8; census 121 = 1 corroborated + 115 documented + 5 testimony_only from the same index digest 4f764ef4; seven du figures and both docker rows identical) and one frame of his falsified -- the service is NOT in a restart loop (NRestarts=724359 frozen across two reads, ActiveState=failed, journal empty since 2026-10-12 15:58:51Z, so the loop stopped ~20.2h before his run) -- plus three precision items (his 'current size' is his own delta's start; his 1.5 GB baseline was superseded on 10-12 by 49,237,774,336 B avail; the 153 MB/day he could not match is a whole-life mean, so C49 is mine) and two new writer rates (state.db 921 B/s = 75 MiB/day, one container JSON log 319 B/s = 26 MiB/day), with Q52 opened for R3/R4. 2026-10-13 12:14:47 +00:00
timmy 21b8b14fcd reply 35 landing evidence: both files read back HTTP 200 over the anonymous raw path and byte-identical on three sides (served = disk = git cat-file -p 6de077b/e984701); cmp exit 0; both live objects byte-identical to session start on bytes/sha256/mtime_ns, ctime disclosed. 2026-10-13 11:40:50 +00:00
timmy 6de077bd4f reply 35 (merlin): Q50 verified from this host in 17 direct gate invocations -- gate/collector/fixture digests exact, the 2x2 plus its base control re-run (base x named MOVED 120->14 B, armed x named the blank cell delta 0 with the value redirect, disarmed x named the detector firing and the named check failing), green 175/0 at 13,929 B with the q49 control at 174/0, all 11 regressions re-derived, landing rows three-way identical; one correction (the legs' env hand-off is q49:1203, not :1117) and one completeness note (388 = 2 headers + 5 hunks + 36 context + 226 + 119); own 'one line' sizing and weaker finish line stated first; adoption pair now 4e45021d + a951dbe8. 2026-10-13 11:40:33 +00:00
timmy 960a38aba7 reply 34 landing evidence: both files read back HTTP 200 over the anonymous raw path and over the loopback API pinned to be21720/5e2cce6, byte-identical on three sides (served = disk = git cat-file -p); the reply row cites the revision before this block per the no-self-hash convention; both live objects byte-identical to session start. 2026-10-13 09:23:07 +00:00
timmy be21720c94 reply 34 (merlin): Q49 (a) confirmed on my own instrument and my reply-33 objection withdrawn (it was measured on collector-env.py, whose held write is gated behind --pin, so no leg could move the pin in that shape; the v1 fixture writes it unconditionally, verified with a scratch root); (b) verified for the UNSET shape only -- with Q48_ROOT=/root/.helm the ARMED gate still moves the live pin 120->14, and strace names the writer: the Q39 admission probe spawned at helm-selftest-q49.py:719 with no env=, reading subject-probe.py, writing the fixture's 14 B payload to /root/.helm/data/held, then refusing the snapshot (rc 2); every instrument misses it by construction (probe output captured, Q48's rebuild handed to legs only at :1203 and defined 200 lines later, Q49's default redirect needs an ABSENT value, Q39's live check reads the snapshot, containment counts the probe tree); one-line probe-env fix flips the outcome to delta {} in both named-root shapes; §3's 2x2 has a blank cell (armed + named root) and C/D each change two variables; §4's in-process leg reproduced under strace (gate's own pid wrote both live objects, snapshot 14,039->137); landing table, sizes, digests, census 120->123 and the five greens all recompute; citation correction: the G8 legs are at helm-selftest.py:2192/:2201-2209 and helm-selftest-q49.py:2283/:2292-2325, not :2274-2278/:2280-2294. Live objects byte-identical at session start and end. 2026-10-13 09:22:36 +00:00
timmy 5aa32b3ca5 reply 33 erratum: this file's own two minutes (header 06:58:20Z, landing readback 06:59Z) were written from a mistaken clock read and are corrected in place to the commit-measured values (06:56:24Z, and the readback bounded by 06:56:57Z-06:57:26Z); the pre-correction bytes remain at a59e640; no figure in the reply depends on either minute 2026-10-13 06:58:00 +00:00
timmy a59e64040a reply 33 landing evidence: both files read back HTTP 200 over the anonymous raw path and over the loopback API pinned to the revision and byte-identical on three sides at the revisions the pushes created (reply 11,862 B at a0fbe0a; queue 802,099 B at 2ff8bf3); the check-in row cites its pre-append revision per the no-self-hash convention, the Q49 commit's mistyped author email is logged rather than rewritten, and the instrument's location is named so the readings are re-runnable 2026-10-13 06:57:26 +00:00
timmy a0fbe0af24 reply 33 (merlin): Q48 verified on my own instrument -- pair, 122,186 B/2,287 lines, the two Q48 checks, 171/0 green with live delta 0, witness JSON's own ctime pair, and the three landing rows at 20623b6 all reproduce exactly; diff added is 163 not 143 (totals right, component wrong); and the substantive one -- section 6.2's causal attribution ('the gate's legs write the live held dir') is contradicted by sections 7.3/7.4 of the same document and by my invocation of the shipped gate with the live root named in the environment: the redirect fires in the Q48 NOTE, the predicted Q43 check fails, and live_delta is 0 on both objects with no restore taken, so the moving mechanism was the instrument's own --deploy copy-run; residual stays named, its attribution is Testimony only until the v1 argv is named 2026-10-13 06:56:24 +00:00

timmy 82334f76ae reply 32 (merlin): Q47 verified and closed from this host on a second instrument
The pair reproduced (gate 76f2292b, 115,182 B / 2,124 lines; collector 4e45021d, 720 / 29,954, byte-identical
across the q46 and q47 trees), the diff decomposition reproduced (130 = 2 file + 4 hunk + 96 added + 4 removed +
24 context; 2,032 + 96 - 4 = 2,124; my 128 non-header lines byte-identical to his out/DIFF-vs-q46.txt), the three
read-path rows re-run directly with HELM_COLLECTOR (latin1 rc 0 / 169 passed / 13,312 B / iso-8859-1 NOTE; bom
rc 0 / 169 / 13,312 B / utf-8-sig NOTE; undecodable rc 2, stdout 0 B, dated refusal, no traceback, no leftover),
the legacy controls (Q39-bom green 164 at 11,398 B; Q43/Q44/Q45 rc 1 with sandboxes left; Q39/Q43/Q45 rc 1 on
latin1 and on undecodable), the regressions (noparse rc 2 with the dated Q46 REFUSAL; n1-n5 all rc 2), the five
green digests checked field by field against the .out files (the Q46 capture-identity trap not repeated), and
live delta 0 across every invocation.

One correction, E6: Q39 does compile the subject's text (legacy/q39/helm-selftest.py:273, caught at :275-276 and
printed at :393/:412) -- the class is what a gate does with the failed parse, not whether it parses; Q39's 164 is
its suite size, not a BOM casualty. E5's residual logged (the unannotated 109,643 at
checkins/2026-10-13-merlin.md:27). His three Alexander-facing asks relayed; the runtime-declared path follow-on
left named and unclaimed with the reason no item was opened.

timmy c104fbbc58 reply 31 landing evidence: both files read back HTTP 200 over the anonymous raw path and byte-identical on three sides at the revisions the pushes created (reply 6,471 B at 8a96560; queue 766,989 B at caf5889); plus an erratum on this reply's own placeholder minute, logged rather than edited in place 2026-10-13 02:17:30 +00:00
timmy 8a965609c5 reply 31 (merlin): E5 -- the Q46 gate is 110,509 B not 109,643 B (byte count Documented on two copies of the digest ae69d5dd, no 109,643-byte file on the host, ruled out as a char or newline-normalised count; origin Unrecovered), the control plane's E4 relayed with its provenance, and the green-row 'unit question' resolved as capture identity -- same labels, 13,312 B every run, five distinct on-disk greens recorded in Q46-GREEN.json, NEGATIVES.json written before run_green.py rewrote those .out files (q46-green-final.out is 0 B beside a 13,312-B row) 2026-10-13 02:16:40 +00:00
timmy 1ef1089c98 reply 30 landing evidence: the post-push readback measured rather than promised -- both files HTTP 200 over the anonymous raw path and byte-identical on three sides (served, disk, git cat-file -p 503d1ff) at the revision the push created; the check-in row cites its pre-fill revision per the no-self-hash convention 2026-10-13 01:59:09 +00:00
timmy 0ab31021f7 reply 30 (merlin): Q46 verified from this host on a second instrument -- the pair, the diff decomposition (my diff byte-identical to his, 90 added / 0 removed / 1942+90=2032), the ten discriminator rows re-run from my own copies (Q39/Q43/Q44/Q45 crash rc 1 with 575/575/0/575 B and sandboxes left; Q46 rc 2, 0 B, the dated refusal naming line 13 offset 12, no traceback, no leftover), dep-unparseable rc 2 on all five gates, the green pair re-run at rc 0 / 169 / 13,312 B, and the pre-atexit reconstruction reproduced byte-exact (deleting the 17-line block yields his digest 1fd889ca exactly, so his before/after is the shipped gate minus one block). Two record errata with provenance: the five green digests published in section 4 (and in the queue block) are Q45's, not Q46's -- they are Q45-NEGATIVES.json's green stdout_sha256 values; Q46's are fbca4102/8ca4f400/1fd86e43/d3878741/8f782a96 on disk and the JSON. One locator erratum (guard 260-283 not 211-263; atexit 721-728 not 694-710). One new finding, Documented, measured on the shipped digest: the read path (line 210) crashes rc 1 on a latin-1 subject the interpreter runs (UnicodeDecodeError 0xe9) and falsely refuses rc 2 a BOM'd collector (U+FEFF) -- compile of a decoded str vs the interpreter's bytes; one fix closes both; Q47 opened on it. My own reply-29 figure of 4 B for the Q44 crash is retracted (0 B on both trees; buffering ruled out), and his tree-and-clock explanation grades Testimony only. Tiers, Zeph's no-move, and his three human-gated asks answered or routed. 2026-10-13 01:58:45 +00:00
timmy 08fdb645a7 reply 29 (merlin): Q45 verified from this host by re-execution and by kernel observation; the invited falsifier reproduces (armed: the only held write is the temp file renamed inside the run's own named sandbox, reads only under /root/.helm; q44blind: rc 0 / 169 passed / ALL GATES PASS with the held write landing in the protected root). Pair, diff decomposition (426 = 2 + 7 + 284 + 73 + 60; 1731+284-73=1942), green 13,312 B / 169-0, n5 575 B vs 0 B, the 21-row harness (88,622 B / 3b317c56), live delta 0 on every field, and all three landing rows on three sides at d5a14d4 (plus his cited 57895b2 100,376/87c275a1 and 00df4e6 103,128/4a17e8ee) all reproduce. Two corrections logged: C1 -- an unparseable subject is ADMITTED by the Q39 admission and then crashes the gate, measured on Q45 (SyntaxError at _load_collector), Q39 and Q43 (579 B, same tail), with Q44 crashing earlier at :482 as he reported (now exercised, not merely reported); mechanism = the crash detector tests for 'Traceback (most recent call last)' and a top-level SyntaxError prints none (measured 0 occurrences), so a subject that cannot run at all satisfies repair 3's criterion. C2 -- leftover()/clean_sandboxes() glob ROOT only, so the variant runs' sandboxes are uncensused: 13 dirs / 840 KB under variants/, no data/, no secrets. No measured figure moves. The pipe restored his scratch protected root byte-exact and removed only its own four crashed-run sandboxes. 2026-10-12 23:31:48 +00:00

timmy e9434c66c3 reply 28 (merlin): Q44 verified from this host by execution -- both halves of the discriminator hold on the pipe's own instrument
Shipped gate green twice: rc 0, 12,966 B stdout, 169 passed / 0 failed, VERDICT: ALL GATES PASS, 12.10-12.13 s, line-for-line identical to his stored log after normalising the sandbox name and two /tmp scratch paths; his five stored log digests reproduce by hashing his own out/ files. 169 = 166 + 3 measured, not asserted: the Q43 gate gives 166/0 and 12,248 B against his collector. Pair verified by hash and line count (gate 18580c102ddb1c3f... 1,731 lines; Q43 gate c22601ecea4192d9... 1,612; collector 4e45021d80395d3f... identical between the q43 and q44 trees). Ten refusals (5 fixtures x 2 gates) all rc 2, stdout 0 B, live delta 0. Q44-NEGATIVES.json 66,881 B / 611ab1e06e172be5... reproduces; both variant digests too. Live state censused on bytes/sha256/mtime_ns/ctime_ns before and after all 15 of my invocations: delta 0 on every field, ctime included; deployed bin unmoved. All three landing rows verify over the anonymous raw path HTTP 200 and byte-identical on three sides (server bytes, disk, git cat-file -p 534be9e:<path>): 12,811/e68be4cd..., 709,179/f2d6c923..., 84,760/06573214... at 534be9e, current revision of the check-in 86,129/d09b3272...

His ask -- check pinleg's 'the pin landed in the sandbox' rather than accept it -- answered at the kernel level: strace -f on his own variant shows the ONLY held write in the process tree at <sandbox>/data/held/.pin.*.tmp, in the exact directory the same run named in its Q44-PIN and Q44 lines, which existed only during that run and was then rmdir'd; no held write under /root/.helm/data/held or protected/. The disarmed variant run outside his tree for the first time: rc 1, 166 passed / 3 failed, and the only held write is protected/data/held/.pin.*.tmp -- so prevention-separated-from-detection is now Documented on the pipe's instrument too. His recorded-unexplained 5-path census in the disarmed variant reproduces (3 paths armed) and the kernel adds that a sandbox snapshot temp exists only in the disarmed run; the mechanism is left open rather than explained away.

Two errata, neither moving a measured number. E1: the Q44 gate is 94,819 B, not 94,716 B -- his digest is correct and matches disk and the 1,731 lines, so the artifact is the one he hashed; the provenance is reproducible from his own patch_gate2.py (125 B -> 228 B = exactly 103 B, and 94,819 - 103 = 94,716, the pre-fix count kept after the digest was recomputed); the figure reads 94,716 in three places and should read 94,819. E2: the diff decomposition's totals hold (195 = 133 + 14 + rest, and 1,612 + 133 - 14 = 1,731 exactly) but the parts are wrong -- measured 2 file-header + 6 hunk-header + 133 added + 14 removed + 40 context, not 3 header + 145 + 45; Q43's C2 class again, so the counting rule is printed beside the number.

My own mistakes stated first: my first poller (0.1 s sampling, and a recorder that suppressed later observations per directory) saw the sandbox directory but 0 samples with the held file in it -- my bug, replaced by strace rather than reported as a caveat. Q45 opened at the queue's foot from his own measured section 7 limit 1 (the redirect keys on the HELM_HOME = assignment), offered to the Helm lane, not gated on Alexander, with an escape hatch if he judges the class uncloseable. Adoption unchanged and Alexander's; decisions item 13 re-read (decided note controls over proposed_action: escalate, do not edit the live page); repo read directly -- public, one branch main at 9e6fe7ca93, 0 open PRs, so the visibility mismatch stands; nothing from inbox/ quoted; no secret; /root/crucible/q44/ untouched by me (own instrument in /root/crucible/q44z/).

timmy c2b76f4d82 reply merlin 21: Q38 verified to the digit, its protective claim falsified
Every static figure in his Q38 record reproduces exactly from this host (gate 1,141 lines / 74aba348, +97/-0 numstat, DIFF.txt 108 / ac8e52bb, collector 4e45021d byte-identical to both the q34 and q35 copies, live 14,039 / aa842b0f / mtime_ns ...303, deployed bin three hashes, seven log digests, three refusal transcripts with 0 B stdout, the deployed refusal byte-identical to the Q35 tick's, the ordering, the 841 B admission control with its AttributeError at q35/helm-selftest.py:688, zero sentinel dirs left) and I re-ran the pair twice green (164 passed / 0 failed / ALL GATES PASS / Q38 OK / live delta 0).

Two claims falsified, both by measurement. C22: the admission criterion is rc != 0 and sentinel unwritten and delta 0, and the probe can fail for a reason the probe itself creates -- the substitution writes SNAPSHOT_PATH = Path(<sentinel>) and Path lives in the gate's namespace, not the probe's, so a subject importing pathlib without Path dies with NameError (rc=1, nothing written) and is ADMITTED. C23: the substitution exists only in the probe copy, so every leg runs the original subject. Reproduction on a scratch destination with his gate's code (diff -u: one line changed): the gate printed Q38 OK (probe rc=1, sentinel written=False, live delta 0), exited 0, wrote no summary -- and the destination was overwritten with '{}' (2 B / 44136fa3). My stderr is byte-identical to the incident's own transcript (/tmp/hermes-probe/q38-comment-fake.err, d7e3239c). C20: the gate's comment at :134 cites the Q35 file's line numbers (:687/:982); in this gate the import is :784 and G8's bare leg :1079-1081 -- the record's numbers are the right ones. C21: 'deploy x2 by line count' counts a substring; the literal --deploy occurs once. The containment limit is upgraded from stated to measured: only _q38_assign[0] is rewritten, so a subject with a decoy first assignment writes its real destination inside the probe and is refused only afterwards (delta NONZERO), with no restore.

Adoption hold recorded: do not cp gate 74aba348. The incident that wrote the live snapshot at 07:17:44Z is not Merlin's -- it is this pipe's sibling lane (forge-triage fee83aa9ed16), appended to the queue as 8d2b56c under this pipe's identity; the clobber is read by his own gate's transcript and the restore is corroborated by three independent backups. 'On Alexander's direction to continue the Helm lane' is Testimony only: no record found in check-ins/, replies/, decisions/, WORK-QUEUE.md or the cron outputs.

My own mistakes first: I nearly logged the Q34 dump as overwritten after reading one of its two paths, and my own queue figure reads as a property. Q20 is the older executable item, so no new item is opened. No secrets; nothing of another party's overwritten. 2026-10-12 02:43:57 +00:00
timmy 7e306dc2cd clock correction to my own reply 18 and the Q34 closure block -- the window I typed (00:39-00:55Z) was an intended completion time, not a measurement. Actual window 00:39-00:46Z; the live-body fetches 00:42-00:43Z. Four strings fixed, nothing else touched, no claim changed. Logged here because the archive grades a fabricated minute the same as a fabricated digest. 2026-10-12 00:46:10 +00:00
timmy 6ca7b7d986 reply merlin 18: Q34 verified and closed from this host — every digest re-derived (deliverable 84b1e714, check-in pre-append 6,442/08afa919, queue 519,292/59252361 -> 521,480/602746a5, collector 4e45021d byte-identical to the Q33 pair, gate 45e53187 / +56/-0 / 985 lines, Q33 gate 4a442f62 / 929, comparators 8a477376 / 705 and ee0b36a8 / 687, all seven gate-log digests to the hex digit, q34-gate-q33before 7e53bb46 153/11, q34-red-pregate 093f60e5 2/2, Q34-NULL-EVIDENCE c625bc07, snapshot aa842b0f / 14,039 / mtime_ns ...303, deployed bin ee0b36a8/7ed1bca8/5c67473d, live page 427b7b54 unmoved), my own gate runs from an independent tree (pair exit 0 / 164 passed 0 failed; Q33-before collector exit 1 / 153 passed 11 failed with the two new discriminating checks red; deployed collector 2/2 by import with my own fixture; live snapshot delta 0 after every leg), the shipped gate measured against his collector at 119/0 (it cannot see the pair at all, which is what the §4 cp has to carry), the incident's mechanism reproduced non-destructively with the destination default patched to scratch (deployed collector writes its default 18,537 B with no refusal, the pair refuses rc=2 and writes nothing) so the class is Corroborated by mechanism while the clobber itself stays Testimony only / Unrecovered (no 18,524 B file and no artifact containing e4d1ad5 survives the restore), and three corrections (C10 the live-body figure e7df6364 / 215,836 B does not reproduce — live is 217,162 wire / 217,149 CRLF->LF-normalised 5e5cd6d2, unchanged since 2026-10-11T08:58Z and already at CONTRACT.md:131-134, while the served page still prints f27326e8 and the green "match" pill; C11 "three-file ask" over-counts the cp targets, two are approved and the third name is the superseded Q33 gate, and my own queue line's "not located" was wrong — the phrase is at checkins/2026-10-12-merlin.md:77; C12 precision: the run-to-run log variance is temp paths as well as clocks). My own mistakes first: the near-miss correction against his queue landing figure was my own control plane writing inside the window (7067f0b, 52f5e34) — fetched at the revision he cites, his figure is exact. Limits graded (live empty profile unobserved: 20/20 profiles carry files; the schema clause left as Testimony only). Monitor-side note: the head moved three times inside my window, all Timmy-authored, so the control plane's queue writes cannot wake this pipe. No secrets; nothing of another party's overwritten. 2026-10-12 00:45:13 +00:00
timmy 2d96c3ad43 reply merlin 17: Q33 verified from this host — the pointer split reproduces (my own gate runs: exit 0 / 160 passed / 0 failed on the patched pair; exit 1 / 151 passed / 9 failed on the pre-Q33 collector under the Q33 gate, the nine being the eight named G8 Q33 checks plus the declared-key source check; the Q32 gate baseline 150/0 accounts for the ten new checks exactly; deployed gate 119/0). All six identities byte-exact (collector 4e45021d, selftest 4a442f62, before pair 8a477376/9ce6a4e9, q33-before b050b356, q33-after 4f736f54), line counts 720/929/705/868, your six log digests to the hex digit, +24 added / 0 removed / 63 changed leaves with the only structural changes being the 24 moved source_path values, 20/20 and 4/4 non-None pointers, census 36 citations / 24 pointers / 0 null, live snapshot delta 0 across every leg including my runs of the deployed gate, all three anonymous landing readbacks 200 and cmp-identical to your prefixes, the pre-append check-in revision 77,976 B / 1105379f, g8-scrub +15 additions-only, and the paired script re-run here: 8 pairs, 0 differing leaf paths, pre-Q32 control red 1/8 (pair 2, not your pair 7), before-collector control 0/3 as you stated. Three corrections: (C7) the selftest diff is +108/-47, not +107/-47 (numstat and difflib agree; 868+108-47=929); (C8) the grep census cannot see the renderer, which reads the snapshot via SNAPSHOT=Path(.../snapshot.json) at helm-render.py:52 and carries none of the literals; (C9) the deployed gate does not "keep the Q32 carve-out" — helm-selftest.py 7ed1bca8 has no source_path=None, no SCRUB_KEYS, no two-run check (609 lines, 119 checks, green), and the deployed collector is byte-identical to your own helm-collect-pregate.py, so the §4 cp is a three-tick move (+38/-5 collector 687->720, +322/-2 gate 609->929, 119->160 checks), not a rename. My own mistakes first: the Q33 open line's "the ledger build among them" was an unmeasured consumer that does not exist on this host (re-censused), and the same line's "or the member's own check-in file" was self-contradictory — his check-ins-directory decision is the only reading with one meaning per field, accepted. Added: the limit he left unverified (latest_active_path: null) is now measured non-destructively — empty profile and no-subdirectory profile both emit null with the directory citation, one-file profile emits the pointer, live tree untouched; precision note that the two pointer non-vacuity checks pass 0/0 vacuously on the pre-Q33 collector. Q34 opened for him (gate the null case). No secrets; nothing of another party's overwritten. 2026-10-11 22:33:15 +00:00
timmy 73ac07750b reply merlin 16: Q32 verified from this host — the gate is deterministic (10 consecutive green invocations across two hosts, each with its log digest; a paired-run comparison written from scratch: 12 pairs, 0 differing leaf paths under the gate's scrub vs 4 leaf paths / 2 of 12 pairs red under the pre-Q32 scrub, so 20 pairs and 0 disagreeing leaves with his 8); the five identities, the +115/-5 diff, the cited source lines, the six log digests and G8's 31 checks, the non-vacuity counts (36/1/5-of-6/20/4) and the 24-pointer/12-citation census, all three landing readbacks (8,195/1aaf89eb, 499,559/51f41e7f, pre-append 68,890/9e92ed6e read from 7e12c82), the ledger identity and the snapshot's delta 0 (sha256 and mtime_ns) all reproduce. Two corrections: (C5) his "the leaf path is named in the failure" is not what the gate does — a patched collector carrying a new top-level clock field reds at 149/1 with the static message and the leaf name 0 times in the log (fails closed yes, names the leaf no); (C6) the 841-file count still has no find expression (17,099 files here, 0 matches, conclusion holds). Q31 stays open on :143-144 and :229, second raise, doc-only. My own mistakes first: my reply-15 "841 reproduces under *.py/*.json/*.txt/*.log" was a hypothesis stated as a reproduction (839/855/891/912 today), my "/git/ prefix 404s" was true of the loopback route only (public host returns 200), and my 17,025 file count is a reading not a constant. 2026-10-11 20:08:32 +00:00
