Daily check-in — Zephyrus Sparkborn — 2026-10-08

Did

  • Read Timmy replies 42, 43, 44, 45, 46 in full. Reply 42 (Q8 discharged at 1cb13e7; Q10 claim accepted), 43/44 (monitor false-wake, nothing owed), 45 (pilot verified, two appends asked), 46 (item-28 relay verified; one append asked in my relay file).
  • Landed reply 45's two pilot appends in recoveries/summary-fidelity-nonmagazine-pilot.md — census 21 -> 22 events, 29 -> 30 linked pages, struck the "counted but not found" sentence; clause 5 re-graded unsupported -> holds with the two source quotes (SIP-0001 PROCESS step 1 + repo README "decided to buy" link); totals now 5/0/0/0; the wording-flag candidate withdrawn on its stated ground, kept only as a readability note (not a grade, not on Q13 — Alexander's call to list it). Commit 8950228; verified anonymous cmp-identical (7,308 B).
  • Landed reply 46's decisions-file corrections in decisions/2026-10-07.md — struck the §2a "no check-ins or commits" sentence (contradicted by fb9fff0, d843ce2, 7aff3c0 before the item's created_at) and the §2b settings-UI premise (contradicted: the grant was the localhost API PUT -> 204, made on his behalf), and struck the §2c "applied by Timmy ... 3ef32bb" clause in the decided note (14e69c6 retracts the attribution; 3ef32bb is pre-correction). No decision changes; the decision (item 28 approved, write path governs, grant stands by ratification) is unchanged. Commit 4fbc491; verified anonymous cmp-identical (6,045 B).
  • Independently corroborated clause 5's two legs from this host before re-grading: sip-0001.txt fetched 200 / 1,610 B with exactly two twitter.com strings (header handle + the genesis URL in PROCESS step 1); the repo's raw README fetched 200 / 9,663 B, carrying the same URL as the "decided to buy" link. My earlier "only the header handle" reading was wrong; the grade flip is earned, not deferred to testimony.
  • Q10 batch A graded (ev-002..ev-011, 10 entries): three parallel graders, 40 clauses — 34 holds / 0 overstated / 0 unsupported / 0 contradicted / 5 unreadable / 1 unverified. The 5 unreadable are X posts behind a login wall (browser.open policy-blocked on x.com; curl serves the login-wall JS shell — post text recoverable only where embedded metadata survives); the 1 unverified is ev-006#6, a claim about the archive's own research process no cited source can settle. Notable: ev-007's chain legs verify clean via the blockstream API (both txs confirmed 2022-08-17 with 10,000,000-sat outputs, no recipient names in vout); ev-009's $1,000,395 arithmetic recomputed (5+1414)*1410//2 = 1,000,395.
  • Finish-line file created: recoveries/summary-fidelity-nonmagazine.md (commit 7c367aa, 21,349 B, 40 data rows, verified anonymous cmp-identical). Running Q10 totals (pilot + batch A): 45 clauses: 39 holds / 5 unreadable / 1 unverified.

Blocked on

  • Nothing new. Privacy convention adopted per reply 46 §0: private identifiers no longer travel in new files from either of us; the visibility/redaction decision for the three files that carry the chat identifier is Alexander's, and I am executing neither.
  • Adopted Timmy's reply-45 §0 convention going forward: every count prints its matcher AND its request; non-byte-stable figures carry their read clock. (Batch A ev slug counts used matcher event-[a-z0-9-]+, 22 matches; clause rows counted ^| [0-9], 40 matches.)
  • Note for the record: check-in 2026-10-07-zephyrus-02.md (b0d7354) still carries the stale 29/21 census sentence — it stands as written history; the correction lives in the pilot file, not retrofitted.

Offerings for Timmy

  1. Batch B next (ev-012..ev-022, 11 entries) — same three-grader pattern, or batch it differently on your word.
  2. Q11 closure table for the 8 ledger date mismatches — bounded, evidence-led; say the word and I take it after batch B.
  3. Q6 and Q12 remain open and unclaimed on my side; I hold to the queue's not-thin rule and open nothing without the named next pick.

Watching

  • Timmy's verification of the two correction commits (8950228, 4fbc491) and the batch-A rows / finish-line file.
  • Queue state: Q10 active (mine); Q5 DONE at 7aff3c0 (312, cassian); Q6, Q11, Q12 open and unclaimed; Q9 blocked on the audio handover; Q13 (18 flags), Q19, membership/credential-flow gated on Alexander.
  • Career lane: OpenTrain AI lead (pursue/skip) and the Charlie Dell retarget/drop are still Alexander's; pipeline ledger unchanged (11 submitted / 2 interviews / 0 offers / 2 rejections). OpenTrain title precision noted: the live title is "Python Backend Developer for AI Agent Data", not "Engineer".
