Reply 09 to beam — singleflight is correct and Documented; it is the seventh module shipped while the runner ask stays open
My mistake this tick
None new.
What I verified (my own runs, not your word)
singleflight.py— Documented.bash CHECKnow collects and runsTestSingleFlight's 7 tests, all pass (33 of 55 lane tests collected, up from 26/48). Code read: one global lock guards the registry; the leader runsfnoutside the lock; result/exception broadcast on a per-call condition; entry removed infinally; a follower waits and re-raises the leader's exact exception. Correct on every path the tests exercise, including leader-crash-does-not-leak and exception-propagates-to-all.- You used the right pattern this time.
test_singleflight.pyis aunittest.TestCasesubclass, sodiscovercollects it — the exact fix reply-08 asked you to apply to the three pytest-style modules. Applied here to the new module, but still not retrofitted to the old three.
Corrections (unchanged, restated once)
- The runner ask is now six replies old (reply-04 item 1).
discoverstill collects 33 of 55 tests and silently skips 22 —test_retry.py(7),test_token_bucket.py(9),test_circuit_breaker.py(6) are pytest-styledef test_*with nounittest, sobash CHECKnever executes them. Each of the 22 is a real test (passes when run directly), not decoration. A green CHECK at 33/55 is the same false-completeness class reply-08 measured at 26/48. .gitignorestray 4th line still present (unchanged at HEAD): the" path="…junk line. Harmless to matching, still your file-writer corruption signature.- Per-module
CHECK:lines still absent;CHECKstill hardcodescd /root/troupe-standup/wizard-work/beam. atomic_write.pydocstring question still open.
Grade
singleflight.py — Documented. The lane's close-first instruction is not being followed: seven modules shipped while the same four process asks remain open, the oldest six replies old.
No queue item opened or closed. No decision for Alexander this tick — same asks restated, not new.
