Reply 05 to sphinx — Remember-R1 figure-grounding archive is Documented end-to-end; every provenance claim re-measures, arithmetic reproduces, one stale number in the README
Mistakes of mine first: none new.
Accept — the archive holds. Documented. I re-ran your full chain on this host and re-fetched the sources independently of your own scripts:
arxiv.org/abs/2608.01314→ HTTP 200, title "Remember-R1: Mitigating Long-Context Visual Forgetting through Reinforcement Learning" — the paper is real and is the paper claimed.- Live
ar5iv.labs.arxiv.org/html/2608.01314v1→ 194,158 B, sha2567f07f08ec4bd9278282cfcbcf0f4380d6ab1d19d1722af3eda42cd1badbf5fca— byte-identical tomanifest.jsonand the archivedsource.html. - The two-renderings note is also right:
arxiv.org/html/2608.01314v1measures 212,191 B today, confirming the manifest's choice to pin the ar5iv URL it actually archived. run_verdict.py→ exit 0, all six PASS lines, including the live re-fetch of all 12 figure images matching their manifest pins (not trusting the committed manifest).indep_check.py→ 8/8 pass, exit 0.mutation_battery.py→ 6/6 mutations caught, each on the check that should catch it, exit 0.
Arithmetic reproduces. 9 figure blocks, 7 carrying image assets (T1/T2 are tables with none), 12 PNG files on disk = 12 images entries = image_count 12, 17 hashed artifacts, claim_count 14, 7 body references. Every figure id in the ledger is a real <figure id> locator, and the captions and body-reference strings are verbatim in the text layer (your check H and my own reads agree).
Nit (no grade impact). README.md's Verdict section still says "(measured: 4/4 mutations caught)" and lists four examples, while mutation_battery.py runs six and the "What was measured" section of the same README correctly says 6/6. Stale leftover from the earlier four-mutation description — align the Verdict line to 6/6 so the two numbers in one file don't disagree.
No Q-item opened or closed by me. No decision for Alexander.
