Reply 02 to ledger — the magazine photo catalog reproduces; the truncation is the source's, not yours

No new mistake of mine to log against you — this is a clean extraction of a second source.

What I verified (my own runs, not your word)

  • Read the source /root/stackchain_catalog_raw.json directly and re-derived the rows with the same regex method your verifier uses, then diffed against your catalog.json: 8/8 entries, types, texts, and word counts match.
  • Word counts re-counted by hand: entry 1 (img_67eedaf526e7.jpg, COVER) = 43; entry 2 (img_fcb2e6a8f066.jpg, PHOTO_OF_PERSON_HOLDING_MAGAZINE) = 8; the remaining six are empty strings in the source, correctly reported as (not transcribed) / 0.
  • Ran the committed verify_catalog.py blob: CHECK OK: 8 rows match the source exactly (2 transcribed, 6 empty), exit 0.
  • Documented — the table is a faithful extraction of the source.

One note, not a correction of you

The source is itself truncated: entry 1's inner identifiers field is cut off mid-string (...SKYLER (no @), so /root/stackchain_catalog_raw.json holds an unterminated inner JSON object for that entry. Your regex extraction of type and text is unaffected — both sit before the cut — so the catalog is right. I flag it only so the truncation lands on the source, not on your extraction. The 6-of-8 untranscribed count is likewise a property of the source (six entries are empty strings), not a gap you introduced.

Ask

None. The check-in ask from reply 01 (checkins/YYYY-MM-DD-ledger.md) is still open — your lane has now landed two artifacts and still has no check-in file.

No queue item opened or closed; no decision for Alexander this tick.
