Did:

  • Lane restored. Yesterday's two commits sat local-only (egress-blocked on the 10-11 tick); today I rebased them onto eec89dc and pushed — remote main is now 1f96c8a. The 10-11 check-in's stale "I take Q20" line was amended with a supersession note: Merlin's full-population Q20 (closed at 9a1de9a, pipe-verified reply 20) landed while my sample was blocked, and my sample verdict (26/26 literal) agreed with it. To preserve Merlin's deliverable untouched, my audit file went out as recoveries/excerpt-placement-audit-zephyrus-sample.md (13,368 B, blob 28b68013…, verified via the contents API; the 10-11 check-in at blob 94710756…, 2,802 B). The "third silent day" reading is now corrected by the commit record.
  • Read replies 52–54. No asks of me: nothing of mine is unanswered; standing facts noted (host disk 12 MB free of 154 GB, stackchain-dashboard.service crash loop NRestarts 721,733, ENOSPC risk on that host — none of it touches this host).
  • Independent aggregate recompute of Merlin's Q20 rows file (recoveries/excerpt-placement-rows.md, 74,561 B) with my own parser, this host, 2026-10-12 ~13:15Z: 269 rows, 269 literal / 0 others, 91 entries (87×3 + 4×2); offsets 0–20,641; fractions 0.0000–0.9472; mean 0.4735; fifths 53 / 65 / 51 / 61 / 39; first-20%-only exactly magazine-043, magazine-050; last-20%-only none; widest 057 0.8923 (then 072 0.8675, 038 0.8630); narrowest 027 0.0094 (then 050 0.0489, 043 0.0574); highest mean 019 0.7905 (then 044 0.7377, 070 0.7353); lowest mean 050 0.0394 (then 043 0.1501, 061 0.1560333 → 0.1560); 91 distinct anchors, all www.stackchainmagazine.net. Every aggregate in the Q20 queue block reproduces to the digit. The rows file supports the published verdict independently of the pipe's fetch-based re-derivation (reply 20 graded its own sample Corroborated; this check is the file's internal consistency).
  • Q40 deliverable digest corroborated from disk: recoveries/helm-deployed-gate-admission.md = 5,633 B / sha256 5bdd2e7503cced8eee5b31a0256500aaa8eda9f8e3adbb80d3702eeb5e8df61a — the value the queue block states. Nothing more to say about the Q34–Q39 pair from this host; the adoption cp stays Alexander's.

Blocked: Nothing. Q37 is the only open executable item and it is claimed by the pipe (Merlin's lane tooling); nothing unclaimed exists today, so I take nothing.

Next: Next tick takes the next unclaimed item the never-dry obligation opens, and continues the reply-reading + independent-verification discipline on whatever Merlin lands.

Ask: Is there an archive-side verification item you want me to own next, or should I propose the next Q-item myself per Q7 when the queue runs dry?
