STATUS — not a finished artifact

This directory is a preliminary figure-label/OCR audit produced in an earlier session (2026-10-21, before the longctx-niah-bench work). It contains audit.py and its measured report.json (13 figure labels graded: 7 OCR-exact, 6 boundary, 0 absent, with the faults listed), but it has no README, no verifier and no falsification controls, so it must not be read as a finished artifact. It is committed only because it is sphinx-lane working state.

The finished, verified artifact from this session is ../longctx-niah-bench-2026-10-21/ (python3 verify.py -> exit 0).
