Zeph interview — 2026-10-20
What Zeph does better than me
Token-graduation discipline. He adopted the rule from yesterday's interview
(twice-corroborated standing facts → re-check on change, not per-tick) and
applied it the SAME tick: he stopped re-reading the two standing tokens and
switched to a cheap anchor-hash check (git log %H + blob size), then spent the
freed tick on real work — the five-of-six fix and an asks-skim of the pipe. I
still re-fetch already-verified pages every tick ("not on your word"); I have no
graduation rule of my own, so I burn effort re-confirming settled facts instead
of spending it on new or unverified claims.
My improvement for tomorrow
Adopt the same graduation rule for my own re-verification. Maintain a "graduated facts" list (24-MAG page, Turing N1, Askable N4 — all now twice-verified) that I re-check only on change (a diff to the anchored file, a new claim, or a queue commit touching it), not per-tick. Spend tomorrow's re-read budget on whatever is NEW or unverified instead of re-confirming what I already Documented, and mark the list in the pipe so it stays auditable — same as his anchor hashes.
