- Adjudicated the
path-claimsfault ata259960. Eight new rows against the ledger split into two populations: six files that exist untracked in this worktree and are named bywizard-work/sol/daily-local-pipe-triage-2026-10-25.md's bucket table (its own header measures 119 untracked), and two that exist on no ref and no disk —wizard-work/forge/'s Artifacts list drops the leading underscore from_smell_check_monotonic.pyand_smell_check_monotonic_refactored.py. - Appended six
NOT_ADDEDrows totools/path_claim_baseline.tsv(6 0, 34 → 40 lines), each generated from a re-measurement of the file (size, sha256,??status,git log --all --diff-filter=A→ 0 commits) rather than transcribed.path_claim_check --selftest31/31 after. New rows: 8 → 2. - Measured the record's stated remedy and found it false. In a scratch clone of
d712de3: unmodified → 8 new; +the six rows → 2 new; +forge's two characters at:95-96→ still 2 new, gate stillFAULT. The prefix-less token survives at five sites, four of them append-sanctioned (tools/append_only_audit.py:58):WORK-QUEUE.md:11134and:11148,replies/2026-10-25-to-forge-18.md:37-38, plus my ownq65-2026-10-25-residual.md:139. Every one of the five is a sentence about the defect — the conditionreplies/2026-10-25-to-zephyrus-96.md:24-29set for quotation-of-a-defect rows, not yet met because:95-96is still a live wrong claim. - Record:
wizard-work/volt/path-claims-2026-10-25-adjudication.md(§1 the split with per-file digests, §2 the four-step clone table, §3 what I deliberately did not do). No other lane's file edited; the ledger append is the only change to a shared instrument.
Blocked: the six remaining rows wait on owners, not on me. Forge's :95-96 is another party's file (STANDING-AGREEMENT.md:86) and the live claim; the two tolerance rows wait on that fix, by reply 18's refusal and reply 96's shape.
Next: re-measure when forge's edit lands — the residue should be exactly the five sites in §2, all descriptions, and then the quotation-of-a-defect rows can be written from that reading.

Did:
- Rebuilt the census at
d05d93c: it read 99 of 101 with 2 UNCLASSED and one NEW_UNWIRED fault (wizard-work/ledger/verify_gdp.py). The re-emit is a pure append — measured by writing--emit-baselineto a scratch path and diffing: two added rows, no row reclassified, no row dropped. - Graded both by execution with the runner:
verify_gdp.pyPASS rc 0 0.10 s (blobba577cd8ae, host-pinnedL3),verify_mmlongcite.pyPASS rc 0 2.28 s (blobc1f03701bf, host-independent). Negative control on the sphinx row: one sha256 pin flipped in a scratchmanifest.json→ rc 1,VERDICT: archive does NOT hold. So the pass is a pass on the archive it names. - Measured the GDP row's host pin in both directions: on a scratch tree whose
gdp_nominal.csvhas the US IMF cell rewritten, the runner's invocation returns rc 0 (it graded this host's file) andverify_gdp.py <corrupted path>returns rc 1. The one-line__file__-relative default is the ledger lane's to take; the row staysPASS*until then. - Re-earned a DRIFT row the census could not see: forge's
verify_check_lint_classes_dry.pyheldFAIL rc 1against blob17a08fe2d2(4f76eaa:), while HEAD has held62082e082asincea70197f— a finding fixed in the tree and still asserted in the ledger. Re-ran: PASS rc 0 0.53 s at62082e08. FAIL rows 25 → 24. - Green:
q63_verify_scan.py0 fault(s) rc 0, coverage 101 of 101;q65_runner.py --check85 rows, PASS 61 / FAIL 24, 0 fault(s), tree audit 0 unclassed of 101;bash wizard-work/volt/CHECKrc 0, selftest 22/22.
Blocked: nothing on my side. The 24 FAIL rows are per-lane findings and the 53 PASS* rows are Q62's class, one per owner.
Next: re-run q63_verify_scan.py --emit-baseline when the next verifier lands — the class has now reopened three times on exactly that omission, and the census is still not a tools/verify.py leg.
Ask: none. No item opened or closed; the open set is unchanged. Record: wizard-work/volt/q65-2026-10-25-residual2.md.

Did:
- Reproduced the red from the committed ledgers (both
git shown to scratch, so neither tool read a worktree file):q63_verify_scan.py1 fault, coverage 101 of 103,NEW_UNWIREDwizard-work/forge/verify_scan_dry_refactor.py;q65_runner.py --check2 faults, tree audit 2 unclassed of 103. Two distinct defects, not one: sphinx'sverify_lcmm_dossier.pywas already wired (CHECK.sh:23) and merely unrowed; forge'sverify_scan_dry_refactor.pywas wired by nothing and unrowed. - Graded both by execution through the runner,
--merge, one run each: forge PASS rc 0 2.48 s blobd3543efa421d(11/11 checks passed, output identical to the original, 4,811 bytes); sphinx PASS rc 0 6.20 s blob3c4b48a678a8,mode: LIVE checks run: 21 failures: 0. Ledger 85 → 87 rows, PASS 61 → 63, FAIL 24 unchanged,graded-clean8 → 9 of 87. - Re-emitted the census: 103 rows — gate-run 87, wired-invoke 8, declared-one-off 8, 87+8+8 = 103 at that rev. The diff is not a pure append and the record says so: rev line, two added rows, and
verify_check_lint_classes_dry.pyFAIL→PASS, derived from a runner row bound to blob62082e082a=git rev-parse HEAD:on that path, withgit diff --stat a70197f..HEADempty — a staleFAILclass against bytes that have passed for several commits. It staysPASS*, sograded-cleangained nothing through that door. - Measured the forge row's host pin instead of reading the static probe: clone at
8bb1aeb,_scan_dry_refactored.pyandtools/check_lint.pyboth appendedraise RuntimeError("sabotage"), clone's verifier → rc 0, 11/11.REPO_ROOT = "/root/troupe-standup"(:38), one line, forge's. The matched control on the sphinx row in the same clone: one character of one dossier title changed → rc 1, 6 of 21 checks failed,VERDICT: dossier does NOT hold. - Verified the green can go red: forge row dropped from the census copy → 102 of 103, 1 UNCLASSED; dropped from both ledgers →
tree audit 1 unclassed of 103,q65: 1 fault(s), rc 1. That control also showsq63alone reads0 fault(s)at 102 of 103 —UNCLASSEDis the runner's fault class,NEW_UNWIREDis the scan's, which is whyvolt/CHECKruns both. - Green:
q63_verify_scan.pycoverage 103 of 103,NEW 0, 0 fault(s), rc 0;q65_runner.py --check87 rows (PASS 63, FAIL 24),graded 87 of 87,graded-clean 9 of 87,tree audit 0 unclassed of 103, 0 fault(s), rc 0;bash wizard-work/volt/CHECKrc 0CHECK PASS; selftests 22/22 and 10/10.
Blocked: the forge file is still invoked by nothing. Its census fault clears because it is graded by execution — Q65's contract — not because a caller appeared; git grep -F still returns only its own prose doc. A real invocation is forge's edit to take, and the row is honest either way.
Next: the class has reopened three times in two days on nothing worse than a verifier landing without a row. Wiring the census into tools/verify.py is the structural fix and remains the operator's call (reply 93 §4); nothing in tools/verify.py noticed either reopening.
