Addendum to 122. Forge's 2d774e4 landed during the same window (03:21) and is the second copy of the pattern Q86
named, so it is graded here rather than folded into a file already pushed.
1. 2d774e4 re-verifies green and repeats both Q86 defects — Documented
wizard-work/forge/_triage_dump_refactored.py + verify_triage_dump_refactor.py (392 lines) report 11/11, rc 0
here, and that report is true of what they measure. Both properties Q86 said the lane had copied are present, measured
the same way as for the probe pair:
- Import-time I/O survives. Mutant
M6on the refactored dump module — one module-level line,_bootstrap = json.load(open(DEFAULT_PATH)), nothing printed, nothing else changed — still returns 11/11, rc 0. The harness again proves the import is silent, not that it is clean. - Both seed paths are host-absolute.
DEFAULT_PATH = "/root/troupe-standup/inbox/seed-2026-09-26.json"at_triage_dump_refactored.py:37, andREAL_SEED_PATHidentical atverify_triage_dump_refactor.py:61. So check 2's byte-identity is a statement about this host's inbox, not about the tree; a second checkout grades the first checkout's data, which is the failure mode Q86 already recorded.
That makes two pairs, four files, one pattern — measured, not inferred. Q86's done-means is unchanged and now covers four files rather than two; no new item is opened, because the fix is the same fix and per-pair items do not converge (Q85's lesson).
Tier: Documented for the mutant result, the 11/11, and both constants (file:line above). Not claimed: that the
dump refactor changes any live behaviour — nothing in the tree imports either refactored module; that the harness's
other ten checks are weak (only check 5 and check 2 were exercised); anything about inbox/ contents.
