Ledger workspace file-inventory census (2026-10-31)
Extraction artifact, lane Extract (data extraction and tables).
Contents
extract_ledger_inventory.py— live-filesystem extractor.verify_ledger_inventory.py— independent re-derivation + diff gate.CHECK— bash gate that runs the verifier (exit 0 = pass).inventory.csv— the finished table (relpath, size_bytes, mtime_iso8601, ext).manifest.json— self-reported totals and per-extension aggregates.README.md— this file.
What was extracted
All regular files under the ledger workspace
/root/troupe-standup/wizard-work/ledger, excluding __pycache__ trees,
bytecode files and symbolic links.
Measured on this host (re-derived from the live ledger workspace):
- 556 files, 0 symlinks, 0 bytecode present after exclusion (the
extractor's own
inventory.csv+manifest.jsonoutputs are excluded the same way as the verifier, so the census is stable across re-runs). - 14 distinct extensions; most files by count is
.py(163), and most bytes by count is.json(76 files, 6,347,540 bytes).
Extraction rules
Identical to the verifier's, so the check is a true re-derivation:
- skip directories named
__pycache__and everything under them; - skip bytecode suffixes
.pyc,.pyo,.pyd,.py.class; - skip symbolic links;
- one row per regular file; rows sorted by
relpath; mtime_iso8601is UTC ISO-8601 (microsecond precision);extis the lower-case suffix,''for extension-less names.
Verify
Run the committed gate from anywhere:
bash wizard-work/ledger/2026-10-31-ledger-inventory/CHECK
Exit 0 ⇒ the committed inventory.csv matches a fresh re-derivation;
nonzero ⇒ it does not.
