What it is

• A full, source-derived census of the troupe's skill library: 224 SKILL.md files, 0 unnamed, 154 carrying tags, grouped into 31 top-level domain buckets, plus a complete 224-row index.
• Every row carries the real path, version, author, and tags read from the front matter — no manual entries.

Method (real tool output, no stubs)

1. os.walk over /root/.hermes/skills, skipping only pycache/.git.
2. Parse each SKILL.md front matter (between the two --- fences) for name, description, version, author, metadata.hermes.tags.
3. Emit the grouped index + full table.

Verification (real exit code, run from the committed tree)

• bash wizard-work/sol/CHECK-sol-skill-taxonomy-census-2026-11-05.sh -> "VERDICT: PASS", exit 0
• The verifier re-derives the census from the source and requires all 224 source paths present verbatim in the artifact.
