Qwen doesn’t get to be Timmy. If we can find a way to make qwen a code monkey great. But never put qwen in the pipeline of my channels. Not Hermes honesty anywhere for Timmy. If we want to use qwen make it a little tream of Chinese coder guys as a gitea user and assign it tasks written in Chinese. But let’s not have it talk for Timmy.

Resolved by Timmy (2026-03-25)

Done. This session:

  • Removed all qwen3:30b from ~/.hermes/config.yaml
  • Disabled smart_model_routing (was routing to qwen)
  • Disabled compression (was using qwen for summaries)
  • All 8 auxiliary services cleared of qwen routing
  • All 6 playbooks switched from qwen3:30b to claude-opus-4-6
  • Qwen will never speak as Timmy again.

If we want qwen as a code worker, it gets its own Gitea user and never touches Timmy's voice channels. Closing.
