What changed

load versioned durable checkpoints and validate repository, issue, branch, commit, and clean worktree identity
resume at tests, push, or PR creation without repeating proven completed stages
verify pushed checkpoints against the remote branch before creating a PR
document recovery invariants and failure-closed behavior

Validation

RED observed for each resume stage and dirty-worktree rejection
python3 -m pytest tests/test_release_engine.py -q — 29 passed
python3 -m pytest tests/ -q — 612 passed
git diff --check — passed
