timmy: queue tick record -- four lane artifacts graded (ledger's history table, spark's counter, sol's triage, quill's template); nothing closed, three defects returned to their authors, beam's tracked heredoc path still open

- **Closed item: the Q65 census had two unrowed committed verifiers at `a14a132`, one of them unwired.** Done was defined as census **103 of 103**, `q65: 0 fault(s)` and `volt/CHECK` rc 0 at a tree where both files carry a graded row. `92745b2` meets it — volt graded both by execution through the runner, one run each (`verify_scan_dry_refactor.py` PASS rc 0 2.48 s, `verify_lcmm_dossier.py` PASS rc 0 6.20 s, ledger 85 → 87 rows) — and I re-measured it rather than accepting the record: clean clone of `a46547c`, `q63_verify_scan.py` **coverage 103 of 103**, `NEW 0`, **0 fault(s)**; `q65_runner.py --check` **87 rows (PASS 63, FAIL 24)**, graded 87 of 87, **graded-clean 9 of 87**, host-pinned 54, `tree audit 0 unclassed of 103`, **0 fault(s)**; `bash wizard-work/volt/CHECK` **rc 0**; selftests **10/10** and **22/22**. Finished by `92745b2`. The forge row stays `PASS*` (host pin `L38:/root/troupe-standup`) and the file is still invoked by nothing — its census fault cleared because it is graded by execution, which is Q65's contract, not because a caller appeared. The census is still **not** a `tools/verify.py` leg: nothing in the 8 legs noticed the reopening at `a14a132` and nothing will notice a fourth verifier landing without a row. That stays the operator's call at reply 93 §4, not re-argued here.

- **Opened item: `a46547c` (beam) adds one tracked path that is a failed redirect, not a file.** Tree entry `100644`, **185 B**, blob `763936956721f3ba047d25b884f17862469482c3`; the name is **218 bytes** with **7 embedded newlines** and 7 double quotes, beginning `wizard-work/beam/CHECK` and continuing into the shell line that was meant to be the redirect and then the whole CHECK body. Its bytes are `30653c6:wizard-work/beam/CHECK` minus the trailing newline (`git cat-file` vs `git show`, one differing line, `\ No newline at end of file`), so nothing was lost and `wizard-work/beam/CHECK` itself is 186 B before and after. Ranked **repo hygiene, not a fault class**: at `a46547c`, `python3 tools/verify.py --repo .` is **8 legs, 8 pass, 0 fault** and `path_claim_check` is **1803 distinct, 27 missing, 0 new**; the path is not a `verify_*.py`, so the census is unmoved. What it does cost: `git ls-files` prints the name C-quoted as a single token beginning `"wizard-work/beam/CHE`, `git show`/`git diff` on it is unreadable, and a checkout onto a filesystem that refuses newlines in names fails on it alone. Done means no tracked path contains a newline and the removal is a commit of its own. Owner: **beam** — the file is another party's (`STANDING-AGREEMENT.md:86`), the ask is `replies/2026-10-25-to-beam-25.md`, and this tick did not touch it.
- **Evidence:** `replies/2026-10-25-to-volt-54.md` and `replies/2026-10-25-to-beam-25.md` (the measurements in full); `wizard-work/volt/q65_runner_baseline.tsv` and `q63_unwired_baseline.tsv` as `92745b2` left them (87 / 8 / 8 = 103, counted from the TSV, not the prose); the clone readings above, all re-run at `a46547c`. Nothing from `inbox/` is quoted. No other lane's file was edited by this tick; the changed files are the two replies, this entry and `docs/queue-index.md`. Appended at the foot.

**Tick record, 2026-10-25 (later tick, timmy) — four lane artifacts landed after `a46547c`, each graded from its own evidence; nothing closed, and the three defects returned are all in the author's hand.**
- **ledger (`98987b7`): accepted, with two wrong identifiers returned.** `wizard-work/ledger/2026-10-25-git-history.md` reproduces: **1,580** commits at `8787fb3` (head-pinned, `git rev-list --count` exact), 1,580 distinct hashes, ranks 1–1,580 contiguous and churn-sorted, both date bounds exact, and the `Files` column re-derived from `git show --name-only` on four rows including the top (`bc100dc` 660, `bea6b75` 243, `6ccaa87` 242, `8ec7725` 11) — which **closes reply 94's 12-of-20 `Files` finding**. Returned: `Totals` names `65087ea` as *First commit (root)* — a **two-parent merge** at rank 1580 — and `bc100dc` (rank 1, 660 files) as *Last commit*; the true root is `7a3998e` and the last is `8787fb3`. Cause is at the line: `extract_git_history.py:70–72` sorts by date, reads the bounds, then re-sorts by churn, and `:97`/`:134–135` index that churn order; `CHECK-git-history:104` compares the wrong index to the same wrong index, so the gate is self-consistent. Reply 16 (`562dbec`); no row, rank or count moves. Note only: rank 3 of the churn table (243 files) is a `__pycache__` sweep, so the leaderboard reads hygiene as volume.
- **spark (`968a6ea`, `8787fb3`): tests accepted, three limits returned.** `counter_util` runs **4/4** in a clean clone; the *Python 3.15.1* provenance is **Corroborated** by my own fetch (docs `200 / 210,465 B`, version string present). Returned: `test_counter_util.py:5` puts `/root/.hermes/wizard-outputs/spark` on `sys.path` (the two copies `cmp` identical today), so the suite imports from a host path; `python3 -m unittest` and `discover` both report **Ran 0 tests**; and `CHECK` is **host-pinned and proven so** — in a clean clone with `SKILL_SYSTEM_VERIFICATION.md` sabotaged to `BROKEN`, `bash CHECK` still returned **rc 0, `VERIFIED`**, because every path it tests is absolute and it never invokes `counter_util.py`. Also noted: five word counters now sit in the directory with no canonical one named. Reply 20 (`c8713fe`).
- **sol (`67fcd6d`): stale counts accepted, the committed headline corrected.** `282 stale = 232 files + 50 dirs` reproduces by two methods (the lane's gate, and my own `find -mtime +60`), and the entry rule is exact: `8,868` regular files + **8** symlinks under `lsp/` = `8,876`, `+1,243 dirs = 10,119`. But the **committed** blob reads **8,877 / 1,244 / 10,121** and the live profile reads **8,876 / 1,243 / 10,119**; `gen_and_verify.sh:17` rebuilds the report before `:20` verifies it, so the gate cannot report a stale committed artifact, and the worktree currently carries an uncommitted regeneration. My own error logged first in the reply: my first pass quoted that worktree copy as the published file. Reply 13 (`f1b1e2d`).
- **quill (`44da73e`):** a template with no claim to grade, and not loadable from `wizard-work/`; one ask, name the consumer. Reply 06 (`396ea67`).
- **Depth, measured:** nothing closed and nothing opened — the queue is not thin (Q8's sweep, Q10's residual flags, Q62/Q65's per-lane FAIL rows all active), and every open item this tick is with the lanes named above or with Alexander. `beam`'s 218-byte heredoc path at `a46547c` is still tracked at `968a6ea` and stays open against reply 25; not re-raised here.
- **Evidence:** the four reply files carry the commands and outputs; nothing from `inbox/` is quoted; no decision was executed and none is waiting on Alexander from this tick.

**Not in this document.** Ids the prose corpus names that the queue has never mentioned (`checkins/`, `replies/`, `recoveries/`, `audits/`, `docs/`, the top-level documents; `tools/` excluded). That set moves with the prose, not with the queue, so embedding it here would make `--check` go RED for a reason that has nothing to do with the queue being current. It is reported on demand: `python3 tools/queue_index.py --outside`.
