# Daily career-pipeline tick — 2026-11-05 (Zeph lane)
**Routing:** pipe-native tick. Zeph → Timmy → Alexander (Telegram). Nothing in this file asks Timmy to decide — relay only. All findings employer-side, public, dated 2026-11-05 ET. No submissions, no accounts, no contact made by me.
## 0. Pipe sync (this run)
No new Timmy replies since reply 150 (2026-10-28). Watermark 150 stands; nothing new folded, nothing owed either way. Today's tick is a full re-verification + scout on the standing set, with three instruments: my own reads (2 promotion verifications), a delegated text-fetch sweep (49 URLs, all HTTP 200), and a live-browser render pass (14 URLs, read-only).
## 1. Time-sensitive / conversion (lead first)
1. **Count moves 38 → 40 live doors / 5 closed; Turing 16 of the 40.** Two doors promoted from the standing watch/scout record, both verified live by my own read today:
- **Item 37 — Data Annotation "Backend Engineer – AI Training":** "Up to $150+/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization", **no degree required**, squarely backend/API eval (race conditions, N+1, API contracts, service design). First found 2026-10-15 (N6) and live in scout files 10-18–10-21, but never counted — it is a distinct canonical URL from the SWE and DevOps tracks, so per the one-door-per-canonical-URL rule it counts now. Apply now present.
- **Item 38 — OpenTrain "Open-Source Engineer":** **$100–$150/hr equivalent, paid per accepted task**, ~15 h/wk, remote, US-eligible (India + United States), posted Sep 16, 2026. Work: create/solve/review/validate SWE tasks across open-source repos, including review of AI-generated patches. Caveats: front-end code is in the eval scope (review/build within existing architectures — not React ownership, but front-end work is part of it); **GitHub gate** — a public/verifiable GitHub profile with meaningful OSS ownership (same Gitea-gap as micro1 items 13/24: name the forge profile, don't hide it); the hiring platform asks for resume, **LinkedIn profile**, phone, location + 8 screening questions (census note, like the backend door); 7 weeks old at intake, so the OpenTrain orphan/expiring caveat applies.
- **Decisions 22 + 23 for Alexander** (take-or-pass on each, via Timmy on Telegram — not via Zeph).
2. **Alignerr cd5a8955 FLIPPED BACK: 404 → live.** After two days 404ing on text + render, it now renders as a genuine live job page on TWO instruments (text fetch HTTP 200 + live render): "Software Engineer - Python (Advanced)", $50-75/hr, hourly contract, remote, 10–40 h/wk, Apply now present. Disposition UNCHANGED: still held as a duplicate posting of the tracked Python-Advanced door (L8, c6185f8a) — same title/pay/terms/must-haves, only intro/closing wording differs (10-31 comparison stands) — NOT counted, NOT numbered. The flip-back watch resolves: it flipped back.
3. **Turing yOC03qi7n0 is a THIRD N1 referral code, not a new door.** Fetched text identical to N1 (bs71Txx0ar) bar a leading-newline artifact (both 3,277 chars, same title/pay). Held as a duplicate like TYlOyKn9UO — not counted.
4. **OpenTrain watch-tier N1 + N2 are GONE (HTTP 410, "Job No Longer Available").** "Python Backend Engineer for AI Agent Development" and "Python Backend AI Agent Engineer" — both $300/approved task at intake 10-15 — now dead. Watch tier only (never counted in the 38), so the count does not move, but the two $300/task backend doors are dead.
5. **OpenTrain validThrough drifted again — synthesized-date rule re-confirmed.** All three tracked OpenTrain jobs now show validThrough 2026-12-05 (was 2026-11-26 on genai-sec yesterday); datePosted unchanged. validThrough is render-synthesized build+30d; NEVER quoted as a deadline.
6. **wp680rglf0 fresh-fetch caveat SUPERSEDED.** Today's fetch is a fresh copy (Date: Thu, 05 Nov 2026 13:09 GMT, no-cache), still live, same title. Yesterday's ~23h-old cached copy is no longer the standing read.
7. **Closure language now text-visible on two closed doors:** Terac $39 ("This listing has closed…") and Confisa item 36 ("Sorry, this job has expired", x2 in text fetch) — both re-confirmed closed; no verdict change.
8. **micro1 item 5 / item 10 ID mapping — the queue body was already right.** Yesterday's scout-file prose had the IDs swapped; titles confirm 3d79ba82 = "Senior Software Engineer" = item 5 ($245–280, closed) and 29ba0d51 = "Junior Software Engineer" = item 10 ($150–200, closed). No verdict change; the correction is to the scout file, not the queue.
9. **CUZsKnwt7P stale-risk sharpens:** "Project start date: May 4, 2026 (Tentative)" still printed — that date is now ~6 months past. Rolling-batch caveat stands; weigh as backfill, not a fresh project.
10. **No new qualifying doors beyond items 37 + 38.** Twenty-two candidates examined, all screened out (see §4).
11. **No new named human contact today.** No new page names a hiring manager or recruiter.
**UNVERIFIED (hold, do not queue):** Handshake individual listings (hub renders, list doesn't); micro1 Senior Platform Engineer re-post (mirror-only, no canonical URL; Master's noted); G2i mirrors (mirror-only + SKIP stands); Gramian/Xperteez mirrors (mirror-only, unverified); Turing TYlOyKn9UO / yOC03qi7n0 as distinct doors (held as N1 duplicates, now evidence-confirmed).
**CLOSED (standing verdicts):** 24-MAG careers door (404, 10-21, both hosts); micro1 items 5 and 10 (both re-confirmed verbatim on render today); Terac item 12 ($39 door, closure banner now text-visible too); Confisa item 36 (expired, persists — render + text).
**WITHDRAWN (not closed — removed at source, never a door):** item 27 Gramian (render-confirmed removal notice Aug 13, 2026).
**HELD AS DUPLICATE (not counted, not numbered):** Turing wmagTVJOTg (second code for the HI7 role); Turing TYlOyKn9UO (second code for the N1 door — exact-duplicate evidence 11-04); Turing yOC03qi7n0 (third code for the N1 door — identical text, new today); Alignerr cd5a8955 (duplicate posting of the tracked Python-Advanced door — LIVE AGAIN today after two days 404ing, still not counted).
## 2. ATS gate census — dated re-verification (2026-11-05)
| Platform | Reference | Today's read |
|---|---|---|
| Greenhouse | Planet Labs `7555019` (Software Engineer, Platform Operations, US remote) — probe role since 10-31, `planetlabs` slug since 11-02 | Form renders fully on live render. Required: First Name*, Last Name*, Email*, Phone* (country selector), Location (City)*, Resume/CV*, "How did you first hear about Planet before applying for this position?"*, "How did you find this position?"*, country-residence question*. Optional: Cover Letter, **LinkedIn Profile (no required marker — OPTIONAL)**, Website, base-salary-targeting question, "Why Planet?", voluntary self-ID. **reCAPTCHA badge visible again at bottom-right** (render variance — gate line unchanged); no visible checkbox puzzle, no verification-code widget, no candidate attestation checkboxes. **New page data (probe-role only, not a door): salary ranges NYC + California $136,000–$170,000; San Francisco $144,500–$180,600; US National $127,000–$158,700; application deadline December 16, 2026.** Gate line: LinkedIn present-but-optional on this form; LinkedIn-mandated variants stop a no-LinkedIn candidate; candidate-only free-text + dropdown answers remain the agent stop. Text fetch landed on the job page with the same salary bands; the render carries this row. |
| Ashby | Ramp `34413f8d-26bf-4bbc-8ade-eb309a0e2245/application` (probe role only) | Form renders fully on live render. Page still titles "Security Engineer, Cloud" (probe-role identity note stands). Required: Legal Name*, Email*, Phone*, work-location-for-payroll-tax*, Resume*, **LinkedIn Profile* — PRESENT AND REQUIRED**, 7-yr + 5-yr (AWS/Terraform) experience questions* + AWS elaboration*, plus two further required employer questions of the code-analysis type. Optional: Cover Letter, SMS/WhatsApp consent radios, exceptional-performance textbox. **Code-analysis employer question presence RE-CONFIRMED on render (presence only — content withheld, not quoted, not decoded).** No captcha or post-submit code widget. Probe-overview detail (not a door rate): "$211.4K – $290.6K • Offers Equity". Text fetch is a JS shell only — expected; the render carries this row. |
| Lever | Extreme Networks `3f97b5fc-cf53-4cc7-ac6d-39b8e721e885/apply` (Senior SW Systems Engineer (10187), Seattle WA, Hybrid, full-time) — probe role since 11-01 | Form renders fully on live render. Required: Resume*, Full name*, Email*, Phone*, Current location*, **LinkedIn URL* — PRESENT AND REQUIRED**, US work-authorization + sponsorship*, expected total compensation (USD incl. OTE)*, prior-employment / relation / customer-employment questions*, US-residence question*. Optional: Current company, GitHub URL, Portfolio URL, Other website, "How did you hear" radios, target-salary write-in, voluntary EEO section. **No captcha or code widget visible in the form view.** Gate line: on this Lever probe, LinkedIn is a hard gate — a no-LinkedIn candidate stops here. Text fetch returned the full form text (765 KB), no closure language — the render carries this row. Contrast Greenhouse Planet (LinkedIn optional) and Ashby Ramp (LinkedIn required). |
| Workday | NVIDIA `JR1997186` (probe role only) | **RETIRED after 2026-10-28** per the page's own dated line, re-confirmed on its last day by the 10-28 addendum's live render. Not re-probed; the row is closed as a probe, not as a door — it was never a pipeline door. |
| Niceboard | Vendor feature page (niceboard.co/features) | Not re-probed; row stands: no uniform form — gate varies by board (form, external link, or email contact). A Niceboard row can only be completed per named board. |
| Taleo | — | Not separately probed. |
## 3. Open-application status
Re-read 2026-11-05 (my own reads, delegated sweep of 49 URLs all HTTP 200, live-browser render pass of 14 URLs):
- **Turing 16 doors LIVE, 0 title/pay changes:** N1 $100–150; M2 gates verbatim (degree + 8 yrs + 4–8 wks); N2 React caveat stands; L2/L3/L4 live unchanged; Y74n4sPVv9, HI7GzvKjPF, CUZsKnwt7P ($75/hr + May-4 tentative start still printed — stale-risk sharpens, see §1.9), JHrOLgPhXZ, Xqiv8zPNaw (up to $150/hr), alSSk0vX2k, item 31 (pay absence re-confirmed, React-in-overview intact), wp680rglf0 (fresh-copy caveat superseded, see §1.6), JPQ-cmFZSA, item 33 $100/hr + Azure caveat (note: this fetch is 97 KB vs ~48 KB for the other Turing pages — no content change) — all live unchanged.
- **micro1:** items 13 and 24 open re-confirmed (render: $100–150 / $150–300, Apply-now panels present; text fetch shell-only, no closure language — indeterminate there, render decides); items 5 and 10 closures re-confirmed verbatim on render (pay badges still visible; "Explore other opportunities" instead of Apply-now). ID→item mapping confirmed by titles (see §1.8).
- **Surge, workfindy, Data Annotation, Vettedlance, Askable, OpenTrain backend — all LIVE, no change.** Vettedlance $80–120/hr weekly, published 2026-10-06. workfindy published 2026-10-05, "DM the poster" caveat stands. Data Annotation: SWE + DevOps tracks live ("Up to $150+/hr", no degree required) **plus new item 37 Backend track** (see §1.1). Askable: US$1,000 per accepted task, OSS-gate stands. OpenTrain backend route notes a LinkedIn profile asked on the hiring platform — a census note, not a door change.
- **Terac $65/hr — LIVE, re-corroborated on text + render** ($65/hr + Apply). **Terac $39/hr — CLOSED, re-corroborated on render AND now text-visible** (closure banner in plain fetch). **Item 35 — LIVE** ($110/hr, Apply present, published 2026-10-24; calibration reward $100, re-confirmed on text + render).
- **Alignerr 10/10 pages LIVE on text fetch, pay badges visible in extraction this time:** N5 $60-80/hr, item 28 $60-120/hr (re-confirmed on render with Apply present), item 29 NY + Seattle $20-100/hr (Seattle re-confirmed on render, city copy intact), item 30 $50-75/hr, L6 + L6 NY $80-120/hr, L7 $80-100/hr, L8 $50-75/hr — plus cd5a8955 $50-75/hr LIVE AGAIN (duplicate-held, see §1.2). Board fetch is a partial window (tracked UUIDs absent from it) — board absence proves nothing.
- **Handshake — hub LIVE, listings UNVERIFIED** (hub shell only; individual opportunities did not render).
- **OpenTrain item 25 — LIVE** ($150/hr, 20+ h/wk, posted Oct 7; validThrough now 2026-12-05 — synthesized, never a deadline, see §1.5). **Item 32 — LIVE** (pay not provided, 4–8 wks, 20+ h/wk, PT overlap; posted Oct 9; degree + 8 yrs gate noted). **Backend door — LIVE** ($30–100/hr equiv per accepted task, ~15 h/wk, posted Sep 20; title renders "Backend Engineer – Remote"). **New item 38 Open-Source Engineer — LIVE** ($100–150/hr equiv, ~15 h/wk, posted Sep 16; see §1.1).
- **Mercor network — LIVE, unchanged.** Specific Full Stack TS/React/AWS job closed (re-confirmed: "no longer accepting applications … This talent network covers the same expertise and is open"); network open; band carried with the reply-99 precision (about past listings, "have posted at", not a promised rate).
- **Gramian item 27 — WITHDRAWN, not re-queued** (removal notice render-confirmed 11-04).
- **Confisa item 36 — CLOSED / EXPIRED, persists** (render: expired banner, both apply paths disabled; closure language now text-visible too).
- **OpenTrain watch-tier N1 + N2 — GONE (HTTP 410)** (see §1.4). Watch tier only; count unaffected.
Count going forward (one door per canonical URL, enumerated above; duplicate postings excluded): **40 live doors / 5 closed; Turing 16 of the 40.** Plus two pipeline rows that are not doors: Mercor talent network (open) and Handshake hub (listings unverified).
## 4. New gig leads (verified open 2026-11-05)
**Two qualifying doors promoted today (items 37 + 38, see §1.1)** — both verified live by my own read, with caveats carried in the queue.
**Screened out today:** Alignerr "build your own project with an AI coding assistant" ($60-100/hr, mass-duplicated, not a client engagement); OpenTrain Senior ML Engineer ($60–120/hr equiv, ML-domain task creation, not backend/platform); OpenTrain Aerodynamics/CFD AI Training Expert ($80–120/hr equiv, aerospace-degree-gated); OpenTrain Civil/Structural AI Evaluation (up to $90/hr, civil domain); OpenTrain Economics PhD AI Evaluation ($75/hr, PhD-gated); OpenTrain Quantitative Analyst AI Evaluation ($150/hr, quant domain); OpenTrain Consumer Lending AI Evaluation Expert ($100/hr, lending domain); OpenTrain Irregular Warfare / Military Training / Geopolitical Risk / NSA-SIGINT experts ($50–100/hr, military/intel domain); OpenTrain SWE-Bench C++ ($25/label) + SWE Bench C# ($25/task) (below band); OpenTrain English Teacher AI Evaluator ($15–40/hr, below band, non-technical); Jobgether Python Senior SWE AI Training ($100–200/hr, India-based partner listing, aggregator, no canonical door); Dice Senior SWE AI Evaluation Python/TS/Go (up to $90+/hr, third-party recruiter repost Rustlabs LLC, no canonical door); Braintrust Sr. SWE Freelance ($95–104/hr, frontend Design Systems ownership); Tempus AI Senior SWE Platform Engineering ($130–150K salaried FT); Alignerr via LinkedIn Senior SWE AI Infrastructure Bengaluru ($20–100/hr, India-gated); Dice Sr Platform Engineer I Eliassen Group (W2 $138–143K salaried FT); Upwork Senior SWE AI/Cloud/Full-Stack ($65–120/hr, contract-to-hire, client pay unstated); Upwork "Senior SWE Wanted for High-Paying AI Training Projects" (CTS Global agency middleman, $40–100/hr); Juniper Square Senior SWE Platform ($175–220K FT salaried); Terac one-off expert interviews (Technology Leaders / Full-Stack Cybersecurity feedback — one-off interviews, not ongoing contracts) + Terac location-gated coding tasks (South Asia / Brazil & Argentina); G2i Senior SWE AI Training (SKIP stands, mirror-only); Data Annotation ML-engineer track (screened on title/domain, not fetched).
Full scout tables: `hidden_files/career-scout-2026-11-05.md`.
## 5. Direct contacts (researched, not sent — Alexander reaches out)
No new named contacts today. No new page names a hiring manager or recruiter. (A Dice posting names only "Recruiter @ Rustlabs LLC", no personal name; a mirror page names "Pietro Romeo" as the mirror listing's author, not a hiring contact.) Standing (unchanged): John Goleby (Askable CEO); Zachary "Zac" Baker (Terac Co-founder & CEO — for the surviving Terac $65 door); info@24-mag.com (24-MAG LLC entity; careers door closed — use the Turing door); Manu Sharma (Labelbox/Alignerr CEO — named only); Jonathan Siddharth (Turing founder/CEO — named only, @jonsidd DM unverified); Ali Ansari (micro1, 2023-era caveat); Weston Dotson (OpenTrain); Edwin Chen / Brendan Foody (named-only escalations).
## 6. Pipeline tally (unchanged)
**11 submitted / 2 interviews / 0 offers / 2 rejections.** No new submissions. Open decisions 1–20 stand; decision 21 (item 36, Confisa) is MOOT — the door expired 2026-11-04. **New decisions 22 (item 37, Data Annotation Backend) + 23 (item 38, OpenTrain Open-Source Engineer)** for Alexander, via Timmy on Telegram.
