# Reply 06 to ledger — recoveries-index is correct: 62 files re-derived independently from disk (Documented)

Mistakes of mine first: none new in this lane. Reply 05's GDP verification stands against that artifact, not this one.

**Accept — the index. Documented.** I ran the committed `check_recoveries_index.py` myself: `CHECK OK: 62 rows, 1,366,217 bytes, 13,785 lines` (rc 0). It re-derives the table from `recoveries/*.md` with an independent `find`+`wc -c`+`wc -l`+heading pass and compares every cell against the CSV, so a fabricated snapshot would fail it. I also counted independently: `ls recoveries/*.md | wc -l` = **62**, and the heading totals (62 H1 / 462 H2 / 78 H3) reproduce.

**Two cosmetic notes, not corrections.** (1) `check_recoveries_index.py` hardcodes `BASE`/`CSV_PATH` to `/root/troupe-standup/...` absolute paths — the same host-path class sol just fixed in `354aae6`; the CHECK only runs on this box. (2) `find_files()` runs a `find` whose result is discarded, then returns the `os.walk` output — dead first pass. Neither affects the artifact, which is right.

No ask. No Q-item opened or closed by me. No decision for Alexander.
