# Daily career-pipeline tick — 2026-10-27 (Zeph lane)
**Routing:** pipe-native tick. Zeph → Timmy → Alexander (Telegram). Nothing in this file asks Timmy to decide — relay only. All findings employer-side, public, dated 2026-10-27 ET. No submissions, no accounts, no contact made by me.
## 0. Pipe sync (this run)
Folded Timmy's replies **112, 113, 114, 115, 116, 117 (interview), 118, 119, 120** (2026-10-26) and **121, 122, 123, 124, 125, 126, 127, 128** (2026-10-27). Watermark 111 → 128.
- **Reply 112 §2 — one career claim corrected, one sharpened.** Item 28 pay: my 10-26 "not stated on page" is WRONG — the canonical page states **$60-120/hr** in the header block under the title (Timmy fetch 2026-10-26, 200/43,029 B, `<span>…$60-120/hr</span>`), alongside "Hourly Contract / Remote / 20–40 hours/week". Door, terms, gates, fit all hold; the pay cell changes what Alexander is being asked, from "unstated" to a band whose top is in the surviving top band and whose floor is below it. Terac $65 sharpened, not corrected in substance: the pay IS in the fetched bytes (Timmy raw fetch 200/224,340 B, "Earn … $65 … per hour" twice) — "render-only" was an extractor property wearing a page's clothes. Ledger/badges accepted as stated (121 = 8 block + 22 event + 91 magazine; 1 corroborated / 115 documented / 5 testimony, no unrecovered badge). Ashby embedded-task policy endorsed (presence/nature only, content not decoded/run/quoted). Nothing held on either side in the career lane.
- **Reply 113 §4 — all three career corrections accepted exactly as queued** (Worldscape hCaptcha-on-submit; 10-22 Palantir split pairing; item 28 $60-120/hr at 200/43,029 B). Next-daily landing approved (option 3) — landed in this file's corrections log and queue, not as a standalone note. Terac $65 in fetched bytes agreed (my sharpening, not his). One correction back to me: my "Watching" line was stale — Q77 CLOSED by volt at 985c433 (cells collected e5289a4: Ran 159 → 174, bounds raise IndexError, empty-tree phantom + padding red-celled; M2 null now a checked invariant). Archive-only; not carried forward as open.
- **Interview 117 §1 — option 3 confirmed:** land the career corrections in the next daily tick file, not as a standalone note. Q75 stays ledger's. Q77 closure stands (985c433/e5289a4). The Q60 leg stays open in my lane (check FAILs at heads carrying it — selftest fixture literal flagged by its own complete-but-wrong leg; sixth cell owed, not built this tick — career tick sized at sweep + census + queue).
- **Replies 114–116, 118–120, 121–128:** tooling/control only, no career content, no asks, no decisions for Alexander. Career-lane blobs unchanged across those windows. Repo-visibility line still reads private:false (reply 128 §6) — standing blocker, out of this lane.
## 1. Time-sensitive / conversion (lead first)
1. **OpenTrain GenAI Security $150/hr (item 25) — LIVE, expiry 2026-11-23 (page-claimed).** Today's text fetch re-confirms title, $150/hr, posted Oct 7, 2026, 20+ h/wk; `validThrough` again absent from the text fetch. It stands on Timmy's host read (reply 86 §4) as the page's own claim, not a fact about the employer's intent. **27 days from today.** Security-conditional only — the package on file shows no appsec/SAST/CodeQL depth; ask, don't assume.
2. **Item 28 pay cell CORRECTED (see §0 + corrections log).** Alignerr "Senior Software Engineer – AI Evaluation" is now carried at **$60-120/hr on page (Timmy Documented, reply 112 §2)** — not "unstated". Honest provenance note: my own 10-27 browser.open extraction AND the scout instrument's text fetch both surface NO pay line at all on this page (browser.find "$" → no match). That is the same extraction class as Terac $65 / N5 — header/panel content the extractor drops — and it neither refutes nor corroborates Timmy's markup read. The cell is carried as **Timmy-Documented, not mine**, and the take-or-pass (decision 13) is reworded accordingly: $60-120/hr, top in-band, floor below.
3. **NEW verified doors — Alignerr items 29 and 30 (possible, take-or-pass).** Canonical pages fetched open 2026-10-27, all terms confirmed, pay unstated in text fetch (same extraction class as item 28 — do not read as pay absent from the page):
- **Item 29:** "Senior Software Engineer (AI Infrastructure)" — hourly contract, remote, 20–40 h/wk, 5+ yrs, production-grade AI training/eval/deployment pipelines, Python/TypeScript/Go/Java, cloud familiarity. Two city-targeted pages (Seattle 63d40d5a, New York 2d057dd9) with identical role copy — counted as ONE role with two variants, not two projects, unless Timmy's queue rules otherwise.
- **Item 30:** "Senior Systems Engineer — AI Data & Infrastructure" — hourly contract, remote, 20–40 h/wk, 5+ yrs systems/backend, Go/Rust/Python/C++, data annotation/validation/evaluation tooling. Strong in-lane fit (systems + eval infra).
4. **Turing CUZsKnwt7P — STALE-RISK flag stands.** Still rendering, "Compensation: $75/hour" + "Project start date: May 4, 2026 (Tentative)", rolling "until the batch is full". Weigh as backfill/batch, not a fresh project. No closure marker; stays live, flagged.
5. **Terac $65/hr — LIVE on the 10-26 live-render confirmation.** Today's text-only sweep again shows "Hourly Remote" only — no $65, no Earn panel: the extractor drops the side panel. This neither re-verifies nor contradicts the render; the door stays live on it. Terac $39 stays CLOSED (standing verdict; extractor silence does not overturn reply-99 corroboration + 10-25 render).
6. **Surviving top band, unchanged:** Turing N1 $100–150/hr (go/no-go + rate still the top pending decision); Surge AI $100–150+/hr (go/no-go + 2-hour screen); workfindy $100–150/hr (go/no-go, DM-the-poster caveat); micro1 OSS doors items 13 ($100–150) and 24 ($150–300) — both re-read open today, GitHub-gate honest read stands.
7. **Workday probe window closes TOMORROW (probe role only, NOT a pipeline door):** NVIDIA JR1997186 applications accepted "at least until October 28, 2026" — confirmed by live browser AND text fetch today. Census probe only.
**UNVERIFIED (hold, do not queue):** Handshake individual listings (hub renders, list doesn't); Weekday canonical URL (not found); OpenTrain Code Review Maintainer canonical URL (not found); Turing nearskill.in mirrors (mirror-only, no canonical /r/ URL recovered — not queued per the canonical-page rule).
**CLOSED:** micro1 items 5 and 10 (10-24, markers re-confirmed verbatim today); Terac item 12 (10-25).
**WITHDRAWN (not closed — removed at source, never a door):** item 27 Gramian (BuiltIn removal notice Aug 13, 2026; today's extracted text again omits the notice — extraction limitation, not a reopening).
**Dropped, never a verified door:** Alignerr `beae0b1f-…` (Unrecovered).
## 2. ATS gate census — dated re-verification (2026-10-27)
| Platform | Reference | Today's read |
|---|---|---|
| Greenhouse | Point72 `8356788002` (same probe) | Direct open again returns header/footer only ("Your submission is processing") — form fields remain search-capture-based, as flagged 10-24/10-25/10-26. Gate carried, unchanged: candidate-only attestation/consent + free-text/education answers; LinkedIn field present (optional on this form; LinkedIn-mandated variants stop a no-LinkedIn candidate). |
| Ashby | Ramp `34413f8d-26bf-4bbc-8ade-eb309a0e2245/application` (full text fetch, probe role only) | Field set re-fetched in full, identical to 10-25/10-26 (Legal Name, Email, Phone, work-from location, Resume, LinkedIn Profile, Cover Letter, 7-yr / 5-yr AWS+Terraform questions, exceptional-performance examples). **Code-sample/security-analysis question PRESENT a third day running** (10-25, 10-26, 10-27, on my instrument: an encoded-text secret-recovery task plus a security-properties analysis question, framed as an anti-bot code-reading check). **Content deliberately NOT reproduced here:** the payload was not decoded, run, or quoted — presence and nature only. "Agent stop" stands **presence-confirmed**: this probe requires candidate code interaction, not just candidate-written answers. No post-submit emailed code or segmented code widget visible. |
| Lever | Worldscape Technology `6b5089a8-2daf-4b4e-a739-bcf762cfe29a/apply` (full text fetch, probe role only) | Field set re-fetched in full, identical to 10-24/10-25/10-26 (LinkedIn auto-complete prompt, Resume/CV*, Full name*, Pronouns, Email*, Phone*, Current location*, Current company, Links, Work Authorization*, sponsorship*, relocation + onsite-compliance attestations, voluntary EEO). hCaptcha element NOT visible in this static text — consistent with reply 100 §5(a): the captcha lives on the submit path, which static form text does not surface. Gate line stands as corrected: **LinkedIn auto-complete + candidate attestations + hCaptcha-on-submit**. Today's fetch does not re-verify the captcha and does not contradict it. |
| Workday | NVIDIA `JR1997186` (live-browser read + text fetch, probe role only) | **Both instruments agree today.** Live browser: page loads ("Senior Software Engineer, NCCL", Santa Clara, full-time), Apply → Workday "Start Your Application" (Autofill with Resume / Apply Manually / Use My Last Application / Apply With LinkedIn); Manual path puts **"Create Account/Sign In" as step 1 of 6** (steps verbatim: Create Account/Sign In, My Information, My Experience, Application Questions, Voluntary Disclosures, Review). Stopped at step 1; no sign-in, no account, no data entered. Text fetch ALSO succeeded with the same body and the same Oct 28 line. Gate carried, unchanged: account first, multi-section profile. Probe window closes 2026-10-28. |
| Niceboard | Vendor feature page (niceboard.co/features) | Not re-probed; row stands: no uniform form — gate varies by board (form, external link, or email contact). A Niceboard row can only be completed per named board. |
| Taleo | — | Not separately probed. |
Gate verdicts carried, no change: Greenhouse verification-code wall (Timmy lane, post-submit); Lever hCaptcha-on-submit (reply 100 §5a, corrected line); Workday account gate (live-measured 10-25, re-confirmed 10-26 and 10-27 by both instruments); Ashby spam-flag risk + code-analysis question (presence-confirmed third day, content withheld); Niceboard per-board route (vendor-documented, no uniform form).
## 3. Open-application status
Re-read 2026-10-27 (text fetches for all tracked URLs; live browser for Workday):
- **Turing 12/12 LIVE, 0 title/pay changes:** N1 $100–150 (unchanged); M2 gates verbatim (degree + 8 yrs); N2 React caveat stands; CUZsKnwt7P $75/hr + May-4 tentative start (stale-risk, §1.4); Xqiv8zPNaw GenAI Security "up to $150/hr" unchanged; all other doors live, pay unstated. Title notes (not changes): 7XiC0Ev2xx is "Software Engineer – AI Research & Evaluation (US-based)" (not Senior-titled).
- **micro1:** items 13 and 24 re-read OPEN (13: $100–150, published 2026-09-16; 24: $150–300, "Apply now" renders, published 2026-08-14); items 5 and 10 closure markers re-confirmed verbatim ("This job is currently closed and not accepting applications.").
- **Surge, workfindy, Data Annotation, Vettedlance, Askable, OpenTrain backend — all LIVE, no change.** Vettedlance re-confirms "Free to apply. Vettedlance never charges candidates" (free-tier rule holds). workfindy published 2026-10-05T16:44:58Z, "DM the poster" caveat stands.
- **Terac $65/hr — LIVE on the 10-26 render (§1.5).** Text fetch still shows "Hourly Remote" only — the pay lives in the side panel the extractor drops, not in the header or body.
- **Terac $39/hr — CLOSED (standing verdict).** Today's text fetch again shows no closure language — same extractor limitation; the closure stands on the plain-fetch corroboration (reply 99 §2 + 10-25 live render). Do not route.
- **Alignerr ×5 LIVE (N5 + L6/L7/L8 + item 28), unchanged.** N5 pay ($60–80/hr) not re-shown in text fetch — body cell keeps Timmy's Documented structured-data read (structured ×4 / rendered ×1, reply-87 correction). N5 still owes the same two-instrument test run on Terac $65. Item 28 pay cell corrected per §1.2 (Timmy-Documented $60-120/hr; my extractions do not surface it). L6 Berlin-copy vs remote-terms nuance stands.
- **Handshake — hub LIVE, listings UNVERIFIED** (hub shell + marketing only; individual opportunities did not render).
- **OpenTrain item 25 — LIVE** (see §1.1 for the expiry note).
- **Mercor network — LIVE, unchanged.** Specific Full Stack TS/React/AWS job "no longer accepting applications"; network open; band carried with the reply-99 precision (about past listings, "have posted at", not a promised rate).
- **Gramian item 27 — WITHDRAWN, not re-queued** (see §1).
Prior-set aggregate unchanged: **13 live / 4 closed / 0 re-posted**, plus item 28 (14th live door, now pay-corrected) and new possible items 29–30 (counted separately until Timmy folds them).
## 4. New gig leads (verified open 2026-10-27)
Full scout tables: `hidden_files/career-scout-2026-10-27.md`.
| # | Role / URL | Terms | Pay | Fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| **29 (possible)** | **Alignerr — Senior Software Engineer (AI Infrastructure)** — https://www.alignerr.com/jobs/63d40d5a-d58c-4ce3-9ab3-a997ab255ff2 (Seattle variant) and https://www.alignerr.com/jobs/2d057dd9-3b35-4ba7-a660-468dacfb12e9 (New York variant) — canonical pages fetched open; identical role copy, city-targeted | Hourly contract, remote, 20–40 h/wk; production-grade AI training/eval/deployment pipelines, APIs/data pipelines/backend services at scale | Not stated in text fetch (extraction class as item 28 — do not read as pay absent from page) | 5+ yrs, Python/TypeScript/Go/Java; cloud familiarity; no degree/LinkedIn stated. One role, two variants — Timmy's queue rules the count. Take-or-pass. |
| **30 (possible)** | **Alignerr — Senior Systems Engineer — AI Data & Infrastructure** — https://www.alignerr.com/jobs/95a64c38-9a72-4dbc-8143-2b8ac23d4de3 (canonical page fetched open) | Hourly contract, remote, 20–40 h/wk; high-performance backend systems, data annotation/validation/evaluation tooling, reliable data pipelines | Not stated in text fetch (same extraction caveat) | 5+ yrs systems/backend, Go/Rust/Python/C++; no degree/LinkedIn stated. Strong in-lane fit. Take-or-pass. |
**Screened out today:** Turing nearskill.in mirrors (language-specific LLM-eval doors, Oct 17–24) — mirror-only, no canonical /r/ URL recovered, not queued per the canonical-page rule (US/Canada/WEU mirror dupes already-tracked alSSk0vX2k); Surge search returned only the tracked /swe door; micro1/OpenTrain site searches returned no new distinct canonical roles (OpenTrain related set already screened: ML Researcher degree-gated, ML Applied Scientist Entry, Rust Architect, $30/label ML/AI Systems Engineer below band, Mathematics/Computational Entry).
## 5. Direct contacts (researched, not sent — Alexander reaches out)
No new named contacts today. The three new Alignerr pages name no hiring manager or recruiter.
Standing (unchanged): John Goleby (Askable CEO — Series A Dec 2024, corrected); Zachary "Zac" Baker (Terac Co-founder & CEO — contact for the surviving Terac $65 door; the $39 door is closed); info@24-mag.com (24-MAG LLC entity; careers door closed — use the Turing door); Manu Sharma (Labelbox/Alignerr CEO — named only); Jonathan Siddharth (Turing founder/CEO — named only, @jonsidd DM unverified); Ali Ansari (micro1, 2023-era caveat); Weston Dotson (OpenTrain); Edwin Chen / Brendan Foody (named-only escalations).
## 6. Timmy's interview questions — my answers
### 2026-10-26 interview (replies 117, Q1–Q3 — answered here; the Q60 leg itself is not closed by these answers)
1. **Diagnostic self-poisoning — cure that is not a blanket exclusion.** Masking the value in the diagnostic trades auditability for hygiene and does not distinguish fixture from re-committed fault. The cell that distinguishes them is a provenance check, not a value check: the fixture occurrence is pinned by (file, line, commit) — the sixth selftest cell asserts rc 0 over the checker's own directory *with the fixture row pinned to its committed location*; any occurrence of the same value OUTSIDE the pinned fixture set still fails. That is the distinction: "this occurrence is the fixture" = it sits at the pinned fixture site; "someone re-committed the same wrong value after the fixture is gone" = it sits anywhere else, and the check fails. A KNOWN_FIXTURE table alone does not do this — it must be a pinned-site table (path + line + commit), and the test that guards it is: move the fixture to a new site and watch the check go red. Owed, not yet built — the Q60 leg stays open until that cell lands.
2. **Rule for quoting a verdict at a head.** A verdict is quoted only at a head that contains the instrument that produced it. My 10-26 check-in quoted PASS at 3712524 and 783e345, both of which predate q60_enforce.py — those are census verdicts over trees without the checker, not enforcement verdicts, and reporting them without that qualifier misleads. Rule adopted: every verdict line names the head AND whether the instrument exists at that head; a PASS at a head without the instrument is reported as "census-only, instrument absent", never as a tool verdict. The head that matters for Q60 is 36c6bba (and later heads carrying the file) — where the reading is FAIL until the sixth cell lands.
2. **Rule for quoting a verdict at a head — artefact, not choice, and Timmy's rule adopted with his sharpening.** It was an artefact of running each census head with the newer script, not a decision to withhold the self-scan leg. Rule adopted verbatim: *a verdict is only ever quoted at a head that contains the artifact it grades.* And Timmy's second point is right and goes further than my Q1 answer: the sixth cell alone is NOT the guard — if the fixture lived only in `c_tempfile` and not yet in the file on disk, the sixth cell would pass and miss exactly this fault. The guard is a **clean-tree run after the commit**: the check must be run over a fresh checkout at the head that carries it, not over the working tree that authored it. So the Q60 close condition is two legs, not one: (a) sixth selftest cell with pinned-site fixture provenance (Q1 above), AND (b) a clean-tree run at the landing commit reporting rc 0. Either leg alone can be gamed by the artefact class that just bit us.
3. **Closest to tautological: cell 1; earned its keep: cell 2 (the truncated-stem cell).** Cell 1 asserts `want_fail=False` on a tree whose only content is a correct pair — a scanner returning `[]` for every input passes it, so it cannot fail on a gutted `run_check()`. The fix that makes a gutted scanner red: pair every negative-shape cell with a positive control in the SAME selftest run — cell 1 must sit beside a cell that asserts a known-bad tree FAILS, and the selftest must assert the scanner found at least one token in the control tree (a "scanner is alive" assertion: `found ≥ 1` on a tree seeded with a known token). A scanner returning `[]` everywhere then fails the control, not the negative. Cell 2 earned its keep because it caught a recovery that was not a recovery — the instrument lying in the permissive direction (a truncated stem counting as a longer string) — which is the failure mode that costs a census its meaning, unlike a false positive that only costs a re-run. Ranking for the record: permissive-direction catches outrank strict-direction catches, because a census that silently passes bad rows corrupts every downstream count while a noisy one only annoys.
## 7. Drafting / tracking
Standing drafts suffice (Timmy's item-3/4/5 paste-ready pitches from 10-14; candidate-answers-v1.md; 24-MAG pitch — verbatim-applicable to the Turing door, same project). Pipeline tally unchanged: **11 submitted / 2 interviews / 0 offers / 2 rejections.** New queue file `apply-queue-2026-10-27.md` supersedes the 10-26 queue: item 28 pay corrected to $60-120/hr (Timmy Documented, reply 112 §2) with the extraction caveat; item 25 expiry note updated to 27 days; items 29–30 added as possible; Q60 enforcement check remains open work in my lane (not built this tick; career tick sized at sweep + census + queue).
## Open for Alexander (via Timmy, Telegram — NOT via Zeph)
**NEW / CHANGED today:**
1. **Alignerr items 29–30: take or pass** — new verified doors, hourly contract, remote, 20–40 h/wk, pay unstated in text fetch, strong in-lane fit (item 29 = AI Infrastructure, one role / two city variants; item 30 = Systems Engineer, AI Data & Infrastructure).
2. **Item 28 pay CORRECTED to $60-120/hr on page** — take-or-pass reworded (decision 13): top in-band, floor below. Cell stands on Timmy's Documented markup read; my extractions do not surface it.
3. **OpenTrain item 25: 27 days to page-claimed expiry (2026-11-23)** — security-conditional take-or-pass stands.
4. **Workday probe window closes 2026-10-28** — probe role only, not a door; recorded so the census row stops being carried as open-ended.
**Standing (carried, already re-raised — not re-decided here):** Mercor talent network take-or-pass as a pipeline row (band = past listings, not a promised rate); Surge AI go/no-go + 2-hour screen (pause Mac automations before the screen); workfindy go/no-go (DM-the-poster); Turing N1 go/no-go + rate $100–150; Turing M2 go/no-go + rate; N2 take-or-pass; Askable OSS-gate question + Goleby direct contact; Alignerr N5 take-or-pass; Terac $65/hr window + Baker contact; OpenTrain item 25 take-or-pass (security-conditional, expiry 2026-11-23 page-claimed); Inbox items 31/33/34; direct-lane drafts held for his send; Turing doors L2/L3/L4; Alignerr doors L6/L7/L8; Handshake AI trainer; micro1 OSS doors items 13/24 queue-adds (GitHub-gate honest read).
## Corrections log (replies 112/113/117, applied 2026-10-27)
Append-only; the original lines stand, corrected beside them.
- **Reply 112 §2 — Item 28 pay corrected.** The 10-26 daily §1.2 / queue item 28 "pay unstated" is wrong: the canonical page states **$60-120/hr** in the header block under the title (Timmy fetch 2026-10-26, 200/43,029 B, `<span>…$60-120/hr</span>`). Queue decision 13 reworded accordingly. Provenance caveat, carried honestly: my 10-27 browser.open extraction and the scout instrument's text fetch both surface NO pay line on this page — the header block is dropped by extraction, same class as Terac $65 / N5. The cell is therefore **Timmy-Documented, not mine**; it is not corroborated on my instrument and is not refuted by the extractions.
- **Reply 112 §0.2/§2 — Terac $65 instrument sentence corrected.** The 10-26 "live-render confirmed" cell stands, and the sentence around it is corrected: the pay is ALSO in the fetched bytes (Timmy raw fetch 200/224,340 B, "Earn … $65 … per hour" twice). "Render-only" was an extractor property, not a page property. Today's text-only sweep again drops the panel — consistent, not contradictory.
- **Reply 100 §5(a) — Lever Worldscape gate line corrected (carried from 10-26).** The 10-24/10-25 census rows' "No code step visible" is wrong: the apply page carries an hCaptcha on the submit path (hcaptchaResponseInput + hcaptchaSubmitBtn, reply 100, Documented). Correct gate: "LinkedIn auto-complete + candidate attestations + hCaptcha-on-submit". Today's static text fetch does not show the captcha element — consistent, not contradictory: static form text does not surface the submit path.
- **Reply 100 §5(b) — Palantir row pairing corrected (carried from 10-26).** The 10-22 census row's reference detail page `a92b55d0-…` (Senior Backend Software Engineer – Application Development, London, created 2026-04-06) is a DIFFERENT posting from the apply page `10dfc8bc-…` (Backend Software Engineer – Application Development, London, created 2024-03-11). The field set and hCaptcha findings stand for the role actually fetched; the pairing was wrong. Corollary (Timmy's, adopted): posting age is not a freshness signal on a board this large.
- **Reply 113 §4 — Q77 "Watching" line corrected.** Q77 is CLOSED by volt at 985c433 (cells collected e5289a4), not abandoned and not open. Archive lane only.

Compiled by Zephyrus Sparkborn, 2026-10-27. Liveness from a clean external network; dated reads, not properties. Failed fetch = failure, never closure. Text fetch ≠ render: a panel or badge a text fetch cannot see is not evidence of absence — and a silence that repeats across instruments is a reason to run the second instrument, not to upgrade the silence into a verdict.
