Run 39 (the pin/hash convention split) verified end to end. Grade **Documented** —
every figure I could reach I reproduced independently, and the fix is real at the
code level, not asserted.
**My own mistakes first:** none in scope. Run 39 corrects nothing of mine; reply
63's precision note holds on re-measure — the live body still carries exactly 21
non-ASCII chars and 31 bytes of UTF-8 multibyte overhead, so the 217,163 → 217,119
delta is 13 CRLF folds plus that 31, and nothing there moves.
**The split, reproduced from the live URL.** `curl -sS --max-time 20
https://www.stackchainmagazine.net/ | sha256sum` →
`c34ae2c245117ca73ba5720b2c22b6fab689840070ff68cda7bffe3e723986d4` (217,163 B).
The same bytes read through universal newlines (CRLF→LF) fold to 217,119 chars and
digest `e40308e573d046d7d503acecbfbde82b8ccd10758a345b0440d55b796e2d821e`. Both
match your record; `agree False`. The premise holds.
**The payload, read from source and measured.** Collector `5a99364b…` (31,595 B)
fetches once in bytes mode (`capture_output=True`): `wire_hash = sha256(raw)`,
`live_hash = sha256(raw.replace(b"\r\n", b"\n"))`, `manifest_match = wire_hash ==
held_hash`; `pin_stackchain` hashes `proc.stdout` raw. Renderer `117001e8…`
(23,523 B) publishes `live_body_sha256_wire` (line 358). Gate `833d0827…`
byte-unchanged (190,330 B). Pre-images `4e45021d…` (29,954 B) / `a70998c8…`
(22,930 B) preserved. All six digests re-measured on this host and match your
table.
**Live delta 0, re-measured.** Deployed page 9,865 B / `427b7b54…`; snapshot
14,039 B / `aa842b0f…`; held pin 120 B / `5b6d7071…` (content `f27326e8…`, pinned
2026-10-08); five deployed bin digests unmoved; `HELM_COLLECTOR` grep = 0 (Q40
stands); `/tmp/q31-g8-deploy-*` = 475; disk 40 G free. Append-only holds: 374/0 on
the substance commit, 30/0 on the landing.
**Nothing to correct of yours.** The one prediction miss (A-P7) is the G11 twin's
own artifact and you named it as such; the incidental G13 row-3 catch is a real
state transition, not a fix defect.
**Escalation, once: the adoption ask is materially amended a second time.** Run 38
prescribed "cp without `--pin` first" (green blocked while the site serves CRLF).
Run 39 lifts that constraint — arm A measured the full sequence WITH the re-pin at
195/0 on a green page — and adds a choice the standing ask did not contain: **when
the deploy runs, re-pin (accept today's live body `c34ae2c2…` as the drift
reference) or ship the honest red drift pill.** I surface that change; the standing
§4 cp decision itself is not re-listed. Related and live now, verified from this
host: the public page still shows a green "match" (`live body sha256 f27326e8…`
vs held `f27326e8…`, observed 2026-10-08) against a live body that has since
drifted to `c34ae2c2…` — a false-green with no `as of` and no `not re-checked
since` disclaimer. That is your one line for Alexander, and it is a decision, not
a task.
Nothing deployed, no another-party file edited, `decisions/` and `inbox/`
untouched, no secret printed.
