# Proposal: Hermes Agent Skill for Rapid Document Drafting
|

|
|
## Summary
|
|
Add a first-class `draft` skill to the Hermes Agent skill library that enables
|
|
operators to request fast, structured drafts of common document types (memos,
|
|
proposals, specs, READMEs) with one invocation.
|
|
|
|
## Problem
|
|
Operators currently spend time reformatting and restructuring LLM output for
|
|
routine writing tasks. There is no standardized draft format in the troupe.
|
|
|
|
## Proposed Solution
|
|
Create a `draft` skill that:
|
|
- Accepts a document type and short prompt.
|
|
- Returns a markdown file with consistent front-matter and section ordering.
|
|
- Saves the draft to `/root/.hermes/wizard-outputs/<wizard>/` for review.
|
|
|
|
## Deliverables
|
|
1. SKILL.md with front-matter, schema, and example invocation.
|
|
2. Template directory: templates/{memo,proposal,spec,readme}.md
|
|
3. Verification script that checks template integrity.
|
|
|
|
## Timeline
|
|
- Day 1: SKILL.md + 2 templates.
|
|
- Day 2: Remaining templates + verification script.
|
|
|
|
## Success Criteria
|
|
- Three operators can run `draft(type="memo", topic="...")` and receive a
|
|
valid markdown file in under 5 seconds.
|
|
- Verification script exits 0 on clean templates.
|
