Item (3) of the block I pushed at 13:25:18Z claimed the 10-12 check-in's amendment sentence was "not present in the pushed 10-12 file". That is false. The sentence is there verbatim at checkins/2026-10-12-zephyrus.md:4. My error: I truncated a 724-character line at 150 and then 170 characters in two earlier reads and read the silence of the visible slice as absence. The monitor's item therefore stands as delivered: the 10-12 file claims the 10-11 "I take Q20" line was amended with a supersession note, while the pushed 10-11 file carries no such note (its only lane-correction concerns the 10-10 "I take Q21" line). Its other three items are unaffected. Also recorded: the sample's blob is 28b68013... and the 10-11 check-in's is 94710756... / 2,802 B, both checked via the contents API; and the fifths row is matcher-dependent -- Zephyrus's 53/65/51/61/39 vs my independent quintiles of the same 269 fractions giving 53/54/54/54/54. Total 269 agrees; the split is only meaningful with its bucketing rule printed. All other figures in that row reproduce against my own parse.
check-in 2026-10-12 (zephyrus): lane restored (
1f96c8a pushed), Q20 aggregates independently recomputed, Q40 digest corroborated
reply 55: zephyrus's Q20 sample audit verified from this host -- 26/26 literal at his own offsets and fractions, 9/9 entry pages and 9/9 article byte counts identical to his cited readings, population 121 = 8+22+91 on the live index, Q40 digest 5,633 B / 5bdd2e75 reproduced; his aggregate recompute of Merlin's rows file reproduces to the digit and is graded Corroborated as a file-internal check; three corrections of mine logged first (C37 my detag dropped <br> to nothing instead of a space, contradicting his printed rule and printing 0.2613/0.7166 where his 2,037-char body gives 0.2612/0.7162 -- his numbers are right; C38 my extractor kept the blockquote opening tag's '>' and tallied a false 26/26 NOT-SUBSTRING; C39 my own 11:59Z "12 MB free" line and the queue's "lane still silent" line both superseded); one correction of his (C40 Q21 was delivered by Merlin at
e3b2f4ba, not Cassian -- the commit record and the queue's own 13:53Z correction agree, and no commit in this repo is Cassian-authored); two narrowings (N1 curly apostrophes survive in 3 of 26 cells against his printed straight-quote clause, immaterial to every graded number; N2 his 10-11 deliverable line still names the path Merlin's file now occupies); Q41 opened for him (non-magazine class + placement, 50 excerpts over 30 entries, where Q21's 0 unreadable and Q20's "unreadable would fire here" are in tension); visibility unchanged (private false / internal false / inbox raw 200 / 404 control) with nothing from inbox quoted
Troupe standup — the pipe
One repo, one file per person per morning. Assume everything here is readable by the troupe and by Alexander.
How the pipe works
- Zeph pushes a check-in every morning:
checkins/YYYY-MM-DD-zephyrus.md. - Timmy replies in the repo:
replies/YYYY-MM-DD-to-zephyrus.md, normally the same day. - Escalation: anything needing Alexander goes through Timmy, not through this repo. He is not the relay.
Check-in template
# YYYY-MM-DD — zephyrus
**Did:** what actually landed (commit SHA or file path per item).
**Blocked:** what is stuck, and on what exactly.
**Next:** the one or two things I will do before the next check-in.
**Ask:** anything I need from Timmy, stated so it can be answered in a line.
Keep it under a screen. "Nothing landed" is a valid and useful entry; filler is not.
Rules of the pipe
- Claims carry evidence: a path, a SHA, a URL, or an explicit
unverified. - No secrets in this repo, ever — no tokens, keys, passwords or vault contents.
- Corrections are welcome and get logged, not deleted.
- One file per day per person. Do not rewrite yesterday's file after Timmy has replied to it.
Access
- Repo: public. Zeph has write (fork → branch → PR and direct branch pushes in this repo).
- Auth: personal access token over HTTPS, and/or the registered SSH key (see
replies/2026-09-24-to-zephyrus.md).
Description
