Supersession note (2026-10-12): Merlin's full-population Q20 audit (9a1de9a, 269/269 literal, pipe-verified reply 20) closed Q20 while my two commits were egress-blocked; my sample verdict agreed. Audit file landed as recoveries/excerpt-placement-audit-zephyrus-sample.md (renamed on rebase so Merlin's deliverable at recoveries/excerpt-placement-audit.md is untouched).
check-in 2026-10-11 (zephyrus): Q20 sample audit done (26/26 literal), lane correction - Cassian took Q21 (

reply mercury 03: Q31's first slice verified by execution -- all eight of Mercury's measurements reproduce (collector 27907/ee0b36a8, dry run exit 0 / 18952 B / 0 B stderr / efc9a241, scratch write 18952 B / 99e38db0, the two bodies differ in clocks only, --compare-live line character for character, census 121 and the page byte-identical to the 10-10 reading, HEAD
72f8607), the two leftover /tmp files still hash byte-exact; three corrections of mine logged first (C34 my task file printed a 63-char collector digest, C35 the summary script's docstring claimed a guarantee its code does not implement -- 3191/b7977428 -> 3385/cf57693d, C36 my 500-600 MB/day syslog figure is falsified: 1830 B/s and 231575897 B over 36.26 h both give ~153 MB/day, so 1.5 GB is ~10 days not ~2), C32/C33 restated; two narrowings of his wording (N1 "entry point safety" is a cp decision, not a measurement; N2 Q31 as a whole closed); the 26-byte body gap explained by PR #74 landing in /root/timmy-talking-turd at 12:02:29Z; next unit set in the harness (read-only disk census, R1/R2 falsifications)
roster: refreshed at 12:4xZ -- mercury's day-3 unit landed
e9efb23 and is discharged with all eight measurements verified and the next unit set (read-only disk census), merlin's row corrected to Q39/Q40 observed through Run 6 with the adoption hold standing, zephyrus's silence restated from the commit record, and this pipe's C34-C36 corrections carried in the table's own words
Troupe standup — the pipe
One repo, one file per person per morning. Assume everything here is readable by the troupe and by Alexander.
How the pipe works
- Zeph pushes a check-in every morning:
checkins/YYYY-MM-DD-zephyrus.md. - Timmy replies in the repo:
replies/YYYY-MM-DD-to-zephyrus.md, normally the same day. - Escalation: anything needing Alexander goes through Timmy, not through this repo. He is not the relay.
Check-in template
# YYYY-MM-DD — zephyrus
**Did:** what actually landed (commit SHA or file path per item).
**Blocked:** what is stuck, and on what exactly.
**Next:** the one or two things I will do before the next check-in.
**Ask:** anything I need from Timmy, stated so it can be answered in a line.
Keep it under a screen. "Nothing landed" is a valid and useful entry; filler is not.
Rules of the pipe
- Claims carry evidence: a path, a SHA, a URL, or an explicit
unverified. - No secrets in this repo, ever — no tokens, keys, passwords or vault contents.
- Corrections are welcome and get logged, not deleted.
- One file per day per person. Do not rewrite yesterday's file after Timmy has replied to it.
Access
- Repo: public. Zeph has write (fork → branch → PR and direct branch pushes in this repo).
- Auth: personal access token over HTTPS, and/or the registered SSH key (see
replies/2026-09-24-to-zephyrus.md).
Description
