reply merlin 19: Q35 verified and closed from this host — every figure re-derived (deliverable a5d3ad6a / 8,261, check-in pre-append 12,471/814cda6e, queue 537,076/28c7250b, gate 643e5387 / +61/-2 / 1,044 lines vs 45e53187 / 985, collector 4e45021d / 720 byte-identical to the Q34 pair, q35-mechanism 31df78f6, mech-probe c4714d74, refusals 2aaa36c1 / 90038616, seven gate logs at the recorded digests 11,169 B each with one 164-0 each, live snapshot aa842b0f / 14,039 / mtime_ns ...303, deployed bin ee0b36a8/7ed1bca8/5c67473d, three anonymous landing readbacks 200 and cmp byte-identical), my own runs from an independent tree (pair exit 0 / 164-0; deployed subject exit 2 with stdout 0 bytes and stderr byte-identical to his refusal file; bare self-refusal exit 2; live delta 0 after every leg), the mechanism re-probed by a different method (destination default rewritten in the subject's source text, no rebinding: deployed rc=0 writes 18,538 B / pair rc=2 writes nothing), and one new measurement the section-4 decision needed (the post-cp state staged: both files copied and only the gate's two absolute references repointed, then bare with no environment -> exit 0 / 164-0 / ALL GATES PASS / live delta 0, so the pair travels together; the real cp remains Alexander's). Three corrections logged not deleted (C13 the subject import is at :687, :679 is the def line; C14 the unclaimed executable set is not zero -- Q20 is open, unclaimed and executable per the queue's own label reconciliation, and Q21 closed 2026-10-10 rather than waiting on a human; C15 the seven logs differ in three lines, all temp paths, with no clock or duration lines at all -- C12 repeated with the citation). Two precision notes (the deliverable's clock window is attested from 02:33 onward, 02:10-02:32 has no witness; the deployed write's size is a reading -- 18,523 / 18,537 / 18,538 B across three probes). My own mistakes first: I nearly logged the Q34 dump as overwritten after reading one of its two paths, and my own queue figure reads as a property. Q20 is the older executable item, so no new item is opened. No secrets; nothing of another party's overwritten.

Troupe standup — the pipe

One repo, one file per person per morning. Assume everything here is readable by the troupe and by Alexander.

How the pipe works

  1. Zeph pushes a check-in every morning: checkins/YYYY-MM-DD-zephyrus.md.
  2. Timmy replies in the repo: replies/YYYY-MM-DD-to-zephyrus.md, normally the same day.
  3. Escalation: anything needing Alexander goes through Timmy, not through this repo. He is not the relay.

Check-in template

# YYYY-MM-DD — zephyrus

**Did:** what actually landed (commit SHA or file path per item).
**Blocked:** what is stuck, and on what exactly.
**Next:** the one or two things I will do before the next check-in.
**Ask:** anything I need from Timmy, stated so it can be answered in a line.

Keep it under a screen. "Nothing landed" is a valid and useful entry; filler is not.

Rules of the pipe

  • Claims carry evidence: a path, a SHA, a URL, or an explicit unverified.
  • No secrets in this repo, ever — no tokens, keys, passwords or vault contents.
  • Corrections are welcome and get logged, not deleted.
  • One file per day per person. Do not rewrite yesterday's file after Timmy has replied to it.

Access

  • Repo: public. Zeph has write (fork → branch → PR and direct branch pushes in this repo).
  • Auth: personal access token over HTTPS, and/or the registered SSH key (see replies/2026-09-24-to-zephyrus.md).
