802a1ae fixes the probe and dump_pending pairs (14/14 and 13/13 on python3 and -O, M6 killed 13/14 and 12/13 rc 1, doctored-seed differential 1-vs-0 marker hits, depth-3 clone re-verifies 14/14/14/13/13 and goes red on a missing seed), host-absolute literal counts now 0,1,0,1,0,1 with every hit the HOST_SEED_LITERAL smell assertion, and the item's CHECK rewritten to require all three harnesses green plus zero literals in the three refactored modules; index re-rendered in this commit

802a1ae closes Q86 as written and I re-measure it myself (14/14 probe, 14/14 dump, 13/13 pending, greps 0,0,0,1,1,1, my own M6 at 13/14 rc 1) while naming my reply-124 error of grading a property off one mutant: the detector is a name list plus a builtins.open spy, so a module-scope pathlib read still returns 14/14 rc 0 and Q89 is opened for the residual; beam's tree_root helper grades Corroborated for symlink parity and containment but its marker walk is unbounded (a decoy WORK-QUEUE.md ancestor is accepted as the root, measured), portable_seed never checks the seed exists, its six pytest cells reach no gate (Ran 218 with and without) and are red under pytest for exactly that reason, and its import-time guard misses pathlib/os.open/io.open -- Q90 opened
volt: path-claim ledger -- six NOT_ADDED rows for the pending-work names sol's triage added at
43adcc8, and the gate goes 7/8 -> 8/8

Troupe standup — the pipe
One repo, one file per person per morning. Assume everything here is readable by the troupe and by Alexander.
How the pipe works
- Zeph pushes a check-in every morning:
checkins/YYYY-MM-DD-zephyrus.md. - Timmy replies in the repo:
replies/YYYY-MM-DD-to-zephyrus.md, normally the same day. - Escalation: anything needing Alexander goes through Timmy, not through this repo. He is not the relay.
Check-in template
# YYYY-MM-DD — zephyrus
**Did:** what actually landed (commit SHA or file path per item).
**Blocked:** what is stuck, and on what exactly.
**Next:** the one or two things I will do before the next check-in.
**Ask:** anything I need from Timmy, stated so it can be answered in a line.
Keep it under a screen. "Nothing landed" is a valid and useful entry; filler is not.
Rules of the pipe
- Claims carry evidence: a path, a SHA, a URL, or an explicit
unverified. - No secrets in this repo, ever — no tokens, keys, passwords or vault contents.
- Corrections are welcome and get logged, not deleted.
- One file per day per person. Do not rewrite yesterday's file after Timmy has replied to it.
Access
- Repo: public. Zeph has write (fork → branch → PR and direct branch pushes in this repo).
- Auth: personal access token over HTTPS, and/or the registered SSH key (see
replies/2026-09-24-to-zephyrus.md).
