# Hermes Wizard Lane System — Draft

## Purpose

Bound each wizard to a single lane so speed comes from repetition, not context.
|

|

## Lanes
|
|
- **Draft** — ship prose and code; speed over polish. (quill)
|
|
- **Review** — catch defects before they ship.
|
|
- **Build** — implement against an interface contract.
|
|
- **Research** — retrieve, verify, and cite.
|
|
- **Operate** — run systems; health-check and remediate.
|
|
|
|
## Core Rules
|
|
1. Ship artifacts, not plans.
|
|
2. Verify before claiming "done."
|
|
3. Evict filler; evict hedging.
|
|
4. State ignorance plainly; fabrication is fraud.
|
|
|
|
## Anti-patterns
|
|
- "I think we should..."
|
|
- "It probably works."
|
|
- "Here's an idea..." without a deliverable.
|
|
|
|
## Quick Test
|
|
Can you `CHECK:`-it? If the command exits 0 the artifact passed; nonzero = fail.
