User problem

Completing the final linked checklist step from mobile Filed review updates the parent but leaves a fully completed parent open. The operator must leave the review flow, find the parent, and close it manually.

Vertical slice

When delegated-child review completes the parent checklist, offer Complete & close parent · acknowledge. On confirmation, update the linked task, close the parent through the existing confirmed closure path, and acknowledge the child only after closure succeeds. Parents with remaining tasks retain the existing update-only action. A retry after an update-only partial success must skip duplicate content mutation and finish closure.

Acceptance tests

  • Parent with another unchecked task updates the linked task without closing the parent.
  • Final unchecked linked task changes the CTA to Complete & close parent · acknowledge.
  • The operation orders revision-checked update, confirmed close, then child acknowledgement.
  • Already-completed final linked task skips content mutation and closes the parent.
  • Update failure never attempts close; close failure never acknowledges the child.
  • Mobile CTA remains usable at 390×844 without horizontal overflow.

#923 added parent-step completion but intentionally stops before parent closure. Historical issue-title scan (465 issues), open PR scan, releases through v0.1.0-rc.1127, and recent commits show no delegated Filed-review flow that closes the newly completed parent. #911 only closes a parent while directly viewing that parent.
